Report: Obama campaign considered replacing Biden with Hillary Clinton
Washington (CNN) - President Barack Obama's closest advisers may have secretly considered replacing Vice President Joe Biden with Hillary Clinton on the 2012 ticket, but White House spokesman Jay Carney said Friday that it was never a remote possibility.
"Campaigns test everything," Carney said on CNN's "New Day." "When it comes to this particular issue, do campaigns test everything? Yes."
While he said the idea was "tested," Carney insisted that it wasn't going to happen.

Would have been a good idea... Hillary is a better political figure than Joe...
That and I imagine she would have loved it because it would have put her in line for 2016...

They have been working so hard this last year , they need to take more time at home campaigning .
At that time there were many people sepeculating whether or not Ms. Clinton would join the ticket. Many thought it would improve the President's chances for re-election. Many were surprised when the President kept the VP on the ticket. The President made the right choice.

I'm questioning Halperin's reporting (easy to do) and CNN's (even easier to do).
Sheesh. Why were they so worried? Not once between 2009-2012 did I think Obama would not be reelected. Were his poll numbers really "waning"? They were higher then than they are right now, I can tell you that much without even looking it up.
Basically, given this network's fraudulent, propagandized, bought-and-paid-for healthcare coverage, I feel that I can't trust articles written by their staff on any other subject. This whole piece doesn't ring true.
Throwing Biden under the bus? all he did was back Obama to the hilt–very loyal...
Ah, more phony journalism. No one is sure if Obama ordered the study or if he was aware. I am sure that Dick Cheney thought of replacing W on his ticket as well. I am sure there is an unnamed source somewhere who heard Dick say that.
The NY Times reported Hillary Clinton was paid $200,000 by Goldman Sachs for two speeches. But there are no stories on the Political Ticker accusing Ms. Clinton of being the female Donald Trump. Bizarrely, that is reserved for Sarah Palin. According to CNN Ms. Palin is not allowed to earn a living. She is not allowed to be the sole bread winner for her family. Not allowed to support her special needs child, that will need her care for the rest of his life.
