(CNN) - Texas Gov. Rick Perry continued his penchant for visiting gun companies in Iowa on Friday, posing with the CEO of a firearm parts manufacturer, a rifle propped on Perry’s lap.
A member of Perry’s staff tweeted a photo Friday afternoon depicting the Republican governor beside Pete Brownell, CEO of Brownells, Inc.

Perry has visited gun manufacturers before, notably touring a Maryland facility in his multi-state effort to lure companies to the Lone Star state.
Perry put out a similar call to gun companies in Connecticut and New York amid those states’ efforts to institute new gun control measures. Perry’s message: while gun manufacturers may take heat in other states, they are more than welcome in Texas.
The three term governor has said he will not seek another stint. While his 2012 campaign for the Republican presidential nomination imploded, there has been some speculation that Perry may seek the presidency again in 2016.
That speculation has been fueled by moves like Perry’s Iowa trip, giving a speech in the crucial primary state Thursday night blasting President Barack Obama’s leadership.

Another GOP clown! I hope the GOP rented a bus cause the clown car is full.
Oh god, please run again, Rick.
Look at that picture, folks. Welcome to Meme # 11654.
This isn`t anything new here. More and more manufactures are moving from liberal anti-gun states to the states that have open arms for them. That`s a loss of jobs, taxes, and money going into the private sector for those liberal anti-gun states.
Run Rick Run!!!
The clown car runneth over.......
@Bill in GA
Look up "coral bleaching," "zooxanthellae," "diatoms," "toxic algae blooms" and start your education on the subject 🙂 You can then take your research to plankton and krill populations and start moving right up the food chain.
"While his 2012 campaign for the Republican presidential nomination imploded, there has been some speculation that Perry may seek the presidency again in 2016."
While Perry was determined to remember the 3 Departments of Government he would shut down during the 2016 primary debates, and in fact nailed all 3, it was all for naught when he confused the 1st Amendment with the 5th and the 2nd Amendment with the 3rd Commandment.
He also forgot his name.

Great. maybe they can pay a living wage to the Workers there and we can get some of these 'open arm' red states off the government teat. Perhaps they can become 'makers' instead of takers'... just to speak your language.
Good to see Perry get out of Texas.
Rick Perry should make another run for the presidency. The battle between moderates, Tea Partiers, and conservative purists will make the World Wrestling Entertainment steel cage match look tame.
when will people realize the goverment libs, dems, and republicans are all rowing the same boat? Take off the blinders
Criminal at best. No one with the I.Q. of a turnip should ever have access to a weapon. That means weapon of any kind. Even a sling shot.
Good heavens Rick.....be careful or you might really shoot yourself in the foot.......you've done it verbally so many times....you might not notice the difference.....I KNOW WE WON"T!!!!!!
Liittle by little...the state of Texas is throwing its weight around and stretching laws to the breaking point...You'all had better be careful or these laws may snap right back and hit you'all square in the face.THIS WORLD IS CHANGING....EXPANDING EVERYTHING AND YOU WILL BE TOO LOADED DOWN WITH GARBAGE TO MOVE ON WITH IT!!!!!!WAKE UP COWBOYS!!!!!!!

California's economy is the 12th largest economy in the world (2012), if the states of the U.S. were compared with other countries. As of 2010, the gross state product (GSP) is about $1.9 trillion, which is 13.06% of the United States gross domestic product (GDP).
Yeah, manufacturers HATE liberal states ...
The NRA let Young the wingnut in Alabama hang out to dry with no funds and he lost. Oops Perry needs to keep talking to end up in the same box as Young.
