(CNN) - It has been a rough month or so for the Affordable Care Act and the Obama administration, which has been struggling to get its signature health insurance program off the ground.
Obamacare, the effort to extend health coverage to every American, has already achieved some of its biggest goals: no more denials of coverage for pre-existing conditions, allowing parents to keep children on their policies up to age 26, the eventual phase-out of the "doughnut hole" for Medicare's prescription drug coverage.

Wake up CNN and realize who the real Victims are...
GOP is bunch of idiotic to fuss on this needless stuff. ACA is a Law. GOP better quit this idiocy.
usually the sayings goes too many cooks in the kitchen spoils the dish very simple not rocket science
Matt, you forget to mention the most important issue: The cost of health care plans. My existing plan costed $325/mo. The cheapest plan offered in my area (Maine) is $725/mo with a deductible of $6350. The plan cost is 13.5% of my gross income. So much for "Affordable" health care.
20-60% of the 106,0000 will get subsidies (varies state to state). It's still not disclosed what percentage of enrollees are young invincibles, if any, or what kind of policies are being purchased.
Until a single person actually writes a check and sends it to an insurance company there will be zero dollars available to give health care to somebody.
After people pay, and subsequently are denied care because of a bankrupt system, lawsuits for fraud will arise.
Have you ever considerd that all the hot air obama and the msm is blowing around might be causing global warming! If you want to become a genius like me, watch Red Eye on fox news
"Obama also was forced to admit that his longstanding reassurance that people could keep their insurance plans if they liked them wasn't holding up, as insurers began sending cancellation notices to an estimated several million people whose individual policies don't meet Obamacare requirements for comprehensive coverage"
And so those cancellation notices were Obama's fault, while the insurers have received exactly zero blowback from the media. All rightie then.
My Employers was paying 50% of Health Insurance covering my self and my spouse as an employee benefit package.
Now after learning about Affordable Care Act they only offer 60 % of the cost for employees only and 100 % for the
other family members .The copay and out of pocket deductible have also increased. It use to offer 70 % for employee only and 50% for ES / EC / FAM for the past 12 years .
Under Affordable Care Act we can only shop if the employers are not providing Insurance or our income is less then the threshold amount.Average Law abiding employed American Citizen shall suffer under this system.
