Obama’s certified organic night out
Washington (CNN) - President Barack Obama went out to dinner Friday night with first lady Michelle Obama and senior aide Valerie Jarrett for a birthday dinner for Jarrett at a certified organic restaurant.
The trio dined at Restaurant Nora in Washington’s Dupont Circle neighborhood.
“The menu changes daily, offering a la carte items and a four-course chef’s tasting menu,” the restaurant’s website says. “The wine list presents over 100 exceptional wines from small producers, many of them using organically grown grapes and sustainable practices.”
Founded in 1979, Nora bills itself as the nation’s certified organic restaurant. According to its website, at least 95% of the food it serves comes from organic farmers, growers and suppliers.
One hundred percent of the restaurant is wind-powered, according the website, drawing its electricity from provider Direct Energy wind farms in Nebraska, Iowa, Texas and Indiana.

Good Mr. President enjoy it and understand their are millions of Americans that enjoy and love organic food to. Don't support Monsanto and the biotech companies that are trying to kill organic farming!!

It says in the article that Nora gets its electricityfrom wind farms in Iowa, Texas, Nebraska and Indiana but, they are in D.C. How is it possible to do this? How do they know that?
