Mike Tyson to Piers Morgan: Obamacare is 'really bad'
(CNN) - He used to be a big supporter of the Affordable Care Act, but Mike Tyson now says Obamacare's suffered a knockout.
"It just really went horrible," the former heavyweight boxing champion of the world told CNN's Piers Morgan in an interview that aired Wednesday evening on "Piers Morgan Live."
"It's really, it's really bad," Tyson added.
The comments appear to be a change of opinion for Tyson, who in an 2012 interview with Morgan applauded President Barack Obama's efforts on health care, adding that the President and Vice President Joe Biden "give the people in that desperational need, that hope."
The start up of Obamacare over the past two months has been extremely flawed, with major problems plaguing HealthCare.gov, the system's main website for people to sign up for coverage, and with a controversy over insurance policy cancellations due primarily to the new national health law.
Tyson says he still believes in giving health care coverage to the millions of Americans currently without insurance, but added that "as of now it doesn't seem they can get it. I was for it a 100 percent but we just have to come to the reality that it didn't work."

If mike was the only one saying this I would not pay attention. However in truth Most are saying the same thing now. Democrats are running away from Obama on it and especially those up for 2014 elections are running scared. So He is right Obama care is a mess and it is probably DEAD now.
What I don't understand is who the hell cares what Mike Tyson thinks? The guy is a rapist. Why do news agencies pay any attention to him? His thoughts and values aren't worth five cents. The guy is a creep.

Of course Tyson only has a 4th grade education so his opinion on anything is rendered uesless.
I think Mr Tyson's comments were sort of taken out of context here. It seemed to me that he was only saying that the launch of Obamacare was massively fouled up – which it was! He did not seem opposed to the principals of Obamacare.
I think it's great that a man who made a living by being beaten in the head, and who has an extensive history of substance abuse, still has more common sense than most liberals. And because they can't handle the reality of how bad Obamacare truly is, they have to make fun of Tyson and discredit him when he points out the obvious truth.
If you disagree with someone, make fun of them. That's standard protocol for all liberals...all the way up to the POTUS.

The PPACA was in large part drafted by health policy wonks and health economists. Have you ever considered interviewing a actual health economist? Moreover, before you report anyones opinion of any bill you should at least ask them to name a few provisions of it, to confirm that they have the intellectual capacity to understand this. Asking Mike Tyson what he thinks about the ACA is about the same as asking for his opinion on string theory. Mike tyson is an idiot so what does that make CNN for reporting his opinion?
So a consumer of the Obama brand Kool(more like 'Fool') Aid doesn't like the taste anymore? The flava ain't what was on the package, Mikey?

Good for Mike Tyson for having the guts to give his honest opinion of Obamacare. Everyone, including Tyson, is free to say what they think, especially when asked by an interviewer on TV. It doesn't matter who agrees with him and who doesn't.
