
(CNN) - Bill Clinton says he doesn't know if his wife will run for the White House in 2016, but he does say that it's too early for the next presidential race to start.
Asked in an interview Tuesday with CNN Español Anchor/Senior Correspondent Juan Carlos López if he thinks Hillary Clinton will make another White House bid, the former President said "I don't know."
(CNN) - Former President Bill Clinton on Tuesday defended his controversial comments in which he said early last month that President Barack Obama "should honor" his promise to Americans that if they liked their health insurance plans, they'd be able to keep them under the Affordable Care Act.
"I was trying to be supportive of it," Clinton said, referring to the law better known as Obamacare in an interview with CNN Español Anchor/Senior Correspondent Juan Carlos López.

Washington (CNN) - Rep. Joe Kennedy III on Tuesday joined a fast aimed at encouraging the House of Representatives to pass comprehensive immigration reform.
The freshman Democratic congressman from Massachusetts is among six activists who will replace current members of the "Fast for Families" group, many of whom are too weak to continue after 22 days of foregoing any sustenance except water. The group has been camped out on the National Mall to protest the lack of progress on immigration measures pending in the House.

Washington (CNN) - House Speaker John Boehner rejected the label that this is a "do nothing" session of Congress, telling reporters Tuesday on Capitol Hill, "we've done our work."
Boehner pointed the finger at the Democratic-led Senate for holding up legislation. "When you look at the number of bills passed by the House and the paltry number of bills passed by the Senate, you can see where the problem is."

Washington (CNN) - As the White House begins a series of events over the next few weeks to highlight the benefits of the new health care law, the number two House Democrat said the President's signature domestic achievement doesn't need to be rebranded, but he regrets referring to the Affordable Care Act as "Obamacare."
"I wish I hadn't' called it Obamacare before because that has politicized it and has been used by Republicans as a pejorative term," Rep. Steny Hoyer, D-Maryland, told reporters on Tuesday.

(CNN) - He may have served as U.S. Senator from Massachusetts, but Scott Brown is dropping more hints that he might make a bid to return to Capitol Hill from neighboring New Hampshire.
Brown, who owns a vacation home in the Granite State, will serve as the keynote speaker at the New Hampshire GOP's holiday reception on Dec. 19. The news, first reported Tuesday by WMUR in Manchester, New Hampshire, was confirmed by CNN.

(CNN) – Republican Sen. Marco Rubio, speaking in London at the leading think-thank the Chatham House, said Tuesday America's changing demographics won't affect the country's longtime relationship with the United Kingdom, pushing back at the notion that the U.S.- U.K. bond solely relies on its ancestral ties.
In a speech about foreign policy, the potential presidential candidate also said he was skeptical of the initial nuclear deal reached for Iran. He also focused a significant portion of his remarks on posing threats by the Russian government, even taking a sharp attack on its President, Vladimir Putin.
