Is it always the economy, stupid?

Washington (CNN) - There will be plenty of legacy items by which to judge President Barack Obama.

Obamacare, for instance: Whether the new law that seeks health insurance for every American is a prudent piece of policy or an albatross of government overreach is a matter of opinion. How about drawing down the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan? What about his efforts to police suspected terrorists abroad through the use of deadly drone strikes?

I think the American people can rely on the fact that no one is perfect But this is a snowball heading for hell The money spent on the ACA was astranomiclly out in left field what about Acorn i could go on but we all get the picture

And to think Pres. Obama is creating new jobs, making the economy better, stock markets highest ever without any help from the Republicans. They are doing NOTHING to help with job growth or the economy, its all Obama working by himself. The Republicans even say Obamacare is killing jobs, yet in Oct and Nov. the largest job increase since mid 2000s. So I guess the Republicans really don't have much to offer the people or nation. They are just ranting about nothing, Boehner is going to run out of things to say at his daily press conference, since he doesn't do anything. So voters keep electing the Republicans and see the people and nation suffer under the attacks of the Republicans.

Sounds like Obama is doing everything a good President should do. Why do the right wing racist nutjobs hate him so much?

To many it is just the economy to others it's a daily struggle to find food, a place to stay that's warm, and someone that cares for them. Sometimes it's not just the economy, it's life.

No President has ever had to take office while the country was involved with two wars, the worse financial crisis in our lifetime, and an opposition party that vowed to do everything in their power to make sure he fails, even if it means the country fails. History will have many to judge. Lets not forget the SCOTUS who ruled corporations are people and money equals free speech.

As with all things these days, one must inspect the lens used by the GOP. We can call that the "Lie Lens". They've said all along that the ACA would douse jobs to go away, more part-time work only, the heartbreak of psoriasis and more. As usual, no proof- and in fact in the presence of proof they are wrong they continue spreading their lies as we have seen all week on TV still claiming Congress is exempt, etc.
The GOP is like the little boy who lied so much no one any longer believed what he said. Maybe they need a class in truth-telling too.
