Washington (CNN) - In political parlance, 2013 was an off-off year.
With the presidential campaign in the rearview and no midterm elections on the table, this year's political focus was mostly on the tedium of Washington, where President Barack Obama and congressional Republicans fought a lot but accomplished very little.

Who is the guy in the photo above? Oh, that's right someone who is no longer in politics – run out of town on a rail BY HIS OWN party for his personal failings. Seriously "librul" media, there's no "there" there!
Yes, ""fought a lot but accomplished very little"" – this would be the political "Quote" of the year. (Just Saying)
Are these two still together? If they are, she's the real loser.
The top moment of year in my book was Karl Rove's on air panic attack on Election Night on Fox News Channel. Priceless.
Certainly the GOP's "autopsy" gets cudos for comic relief. Not the report- it is completely correct, the GOP is doomed without the support of minorities and women. The comedy is that matter how Priebus pleads with the GOP to Moderate, they come up with ever new ways to insult those they think they can attract. Their "ending racism" gaffe of last week is a great case in point.
For me theough the blowout in Virginia is the the biggie- a complete rejection of the ultra-radical Right's agenda and policies in a Red state. The GOP needs to pair that lesson with the thumping Romney took and learn. They are the dead-end kids on a dead-end street.

I'm guessing this is a article which was generated to promote Christie. For example: he got the Hispanic vote. Outreach completed.
The party must also fix its badly outdated voter contact and turnout operations, the report said.

That's what they must be doing with all of their voter disenfrachisement and gerrymandering.

Yes, well. Rand Paul is on his way to Detroit to open the RNCs new "African Americans Are Welcome" office. Soon I expect we'll be hearing GOPers propose a "Give Your Woman A Hug" day as well.
They're covering all the bases for 2014. Yes, indeed.
