HHS launches Spanish enrollment tool

Washington (CNN) - The enrollment tools for the Affordable Care Act's Spanish language site are now available as part of a "soft launch" this weekend.

The site's launch was originally scheduled to occur in October, but was delayed as the Department of Health and Human Services focused on the problems with HealthCare.gov.

"This weekend, we will soft launch the consumer-friendly Spanish online enrollment tool CuidadoDeSalud.gov. We think it’s important to work closely with key stakeholders in this effort and get their feedback to improve the experience. Shortly after and into January, we will ramp up our promotional efforts to drive Spanish speakers to CuidadoDeSalud.gov," HHS spokeswoman Joanne Peters said.

HHS officials say they've learned a lot as a result of the changes to the main site and want to make sure that CuidadoDeSalud.gov benefits from the hardware and software fixes that HealthCare.gov is going through.

The officials say this soft launch will provide the chance to receive detailed feedback from key stakeholders on the Spanish-speaking consumer experience.

HHS officials say in collaboration with state, community, and media partners, a more robust push to drive Spanish-speaking consumers to the website and to enroll at CuidadoDeSalud.gov will occur in January.

HHS is working with such community organizations for that push, including la Raza, the League of United Latin American Citizens, the National Latina Institute for Reproductive Health, the National Hispanic Medical Association, Voto Latino, and Día de la Mujer Latina in Texas and Florida.

This was a higher priority than getting the payment part of the web site done? It is pretty clear there is going to be massive fraud going on and somebody, mostly the taxpayers that are seeing their healthcare insurance cancelled and double in price, will end up getting stuck with the massive bill.

Obamacare is nothing but a massive government welfare expansion combined with massive wealth redistribution masquerading as healthcare "reform". It is without a doubt the biggest fraud perpetrated on the American people.

How many more years will it take to NOT be Bush's fault. Obamacare is going to kill more people than both the wars in the middle east and still cost trillions of dollars.

The GOP congress is signing up because they feel that a law applies to everyone, unlike the Progressive Liberal congress and the socialist Administration.
By the way, Prohibition was once a law as well and Obamacare is less popular. What do you think will eventually happen?

The simply amazing posts from the Right here indicate racism is alive and well in their ranks, and that they STILL have no clue what the ACA is or does. No wonder the Republican Party is such a "train wreck"!

Please plain how requiring people to be responsible for their own health care (by buying insurance) is an expansion of "welfare", or how in a nation that has given the rich lower income tax rates than the middle class (for the last 15 years), that health care insurance is 'a redistribution of wealth"?
