Washington (CNN) - Call it a pre-emptive strike.
Hours ahead of her appearance Wednesday before a House subcommittee certain to grill her on the botched launch of the Obamacare website, Health Secretary Kathleen Sebelius announced an internal review of what happened and why.
FULL STORY

Sebelius told the panel the government has contracted to pay $677 million for the Obamacare website and actually paid $319 million of that total so far.
-------------------------------------------–
I'm a backer of the ACA, but after the website flaws, I think we deserve a discounted rate. Almost half has been paid. I don't think we should have to pay more than $500 million due to the flawed roll out which hurt enrollment numbers initially.
how about REVIEW OF OBAMA--period.
Smart lady. Order an internal investigation just before you face a House hearing investigating the same thing. Now, you have only one correct answer to almost any question. "It's under investigation at this time."

What exactly would you ... "review"?
I think we need to reduce the premiums, with low deductions, then insurance companies cry, cry, cry, bribe to GOP garage. Great idea.

So odd that you would support someone stonewalling the American public with a phony investigation just so your side doesn't look bad and you have no problem with hundreds of millions of dollars being spend on a website (that's not even functioning properly). So sad how much you put party above the country.
White person from the hill of stupid!! Always talking president Obama did this did that he can't do anything until something's passed oh the are sleep the Gop!!!!
Surprise, surprise, yet ANOTHER Obama administration failure and scandal that they will investigate themselves. Last one involved 4 dead Americans and they never interviewed Hillary Clinton, who headed the department.
Why bother investigating? We all know that nothing will be found to be done wrong, nobody will be found to have failed to do their job, and all will be promoted and get bonuses for good measure and to ensure their silence.
For any investigation to have credibility, it has to involve a disinterested thrid party. It can't be the criminals and incompetents investigating the criminals and incompetents.

"What difference does it make at this point in time?"
Do you think they'll get it? Understand what is really being said? Or will they take the bait and bite?

Here's how insurance works, Gargoyle. You put money (premiums) into a pool. That money is used to pay claims for the members who put money into the pool. IF you lower the premiums OR the deductibles, there will not be enough money in the pool to pay the claims. Is that too difficult for you to understand?
