U.S. Rep. Trey Radel faces House ethics probe

(CNN) - The House Ethics Committee will investigate U.S. Rep. Trey Radel after he pleaded guilty to misdemeanor cocaine possession last month.

The freshman Florida Republican previously announced he would take a leave of absence and entered a drug treatment facility after he admitted buying cocaine from an undercover agent.

He was placed on probation.

The chairman of the Republican Party of Florida has called on the tea party favorite to step down. He is up for reelection next November.

Rally around your family value's candidate boys! He is facing an Ethics probe in the House.
My prediciton... they will pat him on the rear, say tsk, tsk... then issue a press release about how they really dropped the hammer on him, but no censure or actual punishment.

However... since the establishment republicants seem to be having a little cat fight with the te ab agg ers... it could be a little worse.
But no way will there actually be any real punishment.

Radel is nothing more than a two bit criminal. It is time for the Boehner and congress to do something to get rid of this bagger, as Radel is not bright enough to step down.

What scares me is that someday people in this country could be so stupid they would just let a drug bust of a political candidate slide because he blew it off himself, as he tried to. Enjoy rehab.

This article says nothing about what they'd be probing about.
Investigate wether he was using tax payer dollars to buy his blow?
    "Partying" while on the job?
Was he "high" while making legislative decisions regarding the welfare of this country?
    Kinda scary.

Hey Tea Partiers... have YOU asked him to step down?
How about we shut down government until he's resigned?

If he was an enlisted man in the Navy he would receive an uthonorable discharge .

We need to be reminded that Trey Radel is not in his teens or his twenties ,

He needs to resign and deal with his disease .

A white tea party favorite buying an illegal drug! So long as he isn't throwing everyone doing what he is doing into jail,or deporting them or calling for the death penalty for drug dealers,he gets a pass saying he went to rehab for a month. Let's hope he knows the definition of compassion or empathy! Gotta love those ultra conservative tea partying politicians.

Remove him from office. He can't follow laws that everyone agrees with so he needs to be shown the door.

Radel wants children living in public housing to be thrown out on the street if one of their parents tests positive for drugs.

Have any of my tax dollars helped to pay for his residence?

    Of course they have.

So, in keeping with the spirit of this hypocrite, let his family be thrown out of their house.

    It's only fair.

Radel thought that he slipped by with that rehab story. The Guns Over People tea potty ACTUALLY think that they got away with voting to destroy the full faith and credit of America. 2014 comes quickly for them all.

A search needs to be conducted of his residence to make sure he doesn't have any bricks stashed anywhere.
