Surveillance program is now Obama's to own
Washington (CNN) - President Barack Obama stands at a significant crossroad.
On Wednesday, he received a set of recommendations from a panel he appointed to review the government's surveillance programs - a decision he made after Edward Snowden's blockbuster leaks about National Security Agency spying triggered outrage.

Their point is that he's black, he's a Dem, he's slightly left of center, he's trounced the GOP/Teatrolls in national elections twice, he's done a buttload of good things that the MSM doesn't really want to talk about, the GOP/Teatrolls are angry about it all, and the MSM has ad revenue to generate to keep corporate happy.

that's funny..... everybody else thought he owned it the first day he was in office. isn't that why he got elected? oh yeah, he didn't know about it because he didn't see it in the newspapers. funny how he signed orders to shut down gitmo on the first day though.
obama is truly the first bystander president in our history. he talks and acts like he isn't resposnsible for anything, it is all somebody elses. obama, the no buck stopping here president.
Pres. Obama might own them, but you can bet that Republicans are going to make sure he doesn't run them.

Referesh my memory: how many hundreds of days did Bush spend on vacation in Crawford, evading his responsibilities? No matter how you slice it, Obama has been willing to own up to everything he has done from successes to screwup: you're just too blinkered and pig-headed to admit it.

Has Obama taken or acted on ANY of the many panels he has formed? NO. This is all just the usual circus, the appearance of action, nothing will be done. That would require work and we all know that at this point, Obama has very little desire to interrupt his busy golf schedule, unless it involves giving a divisive speech or holding a celebrity event to rake in millions from the rich Hollywood elite.
