(CNN) - E-mails emerged on Wednesday purportedly from top aides to New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie that bolster the case that access lane closures to the George Washington Bridge were borne from a political vendetta against opponents of the governor, and were not the result of an incompetent traffic study as his administration claimed.
"Time for some traffic problems in Fort Lee," Bridget Anne Kelly, Christie's deputy chief of staff for legislative and intergovernmental affairs, e-mailed David Wildstein, then the highest-level political appointee representing the state at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

This dude will never win even primary. He is a silly guy.
"They are the children of Buono voters."

That quote right there makes it sound like political retribution. These guys are busted red handed. I'm sure this came from the very top.
Hehe...just a reminder to the rest of the GOP/Teatroll 2016 hopefuls: See your doctor if it lasts more than 4 hours.
""It will be a tough November for this little Serbian," an apparent reference to Mayor Sokolich."
Who is not Serbian, but Croatian.
typical GOP antics!!!
Guess we know what he is bringing with him when he attempts to run for Prez...Anybody that doesn't check as to why Mittsy looked him over and now this needs to get their heat examined..
He's the only one that I would vote for, if he runs in 2016....He means what he says, and says what he means...he's also a trooper, and probably is the most bi-partisan candidate there is, or will be
Not presidential material for Christie administration.
And sadly for good people of NJ affected by his bullying nonsense, not governor material either ...
Needs to resign.
""They are the children of Buono voters."

The level of callousness that statement evidences is pretty insane. Wildstein's going to plead the 5th and then face prosecution.
Anyone have any idea what the recall procedures are for NJ governors?
BTW, just want to give a shout out to all you NJ "Christie Democrats/Liberals"...you derped real good last November.
jersey politics at its best come on repos get real. The fat boy doesn't stand a chance even with the bypass.
"probably is the most bi-partisan candidate there is"
Nothing says "bipartisan" like "they are the children of Buono voters."
From the article:
"Time for some traffic problems in Fort Lee," Bridget Anne Kelly, Christie's deputy chief of staff for legislative and intergovernmental affairs"
and
"Someone needs to tell me that the recent traffic debacle was not punitive in nature. The last four reporters that contacted me suggest that the people they are speaking with absolutely believe it to be punishment. Try as I may to dispel these rumors I am having a tough time."
Oops.
Where is Issa? O thats right he is to busy planning more witch hunts on the Obama Admin. GOP hypocrites!!
Whoops! Well, I think tat Christie should be nominated for the liar of the year.

Don't worry, folks. This show ain't over until the fat lady sings. There's more dirt to follow. No one ever investigated why is it that when Christie left the District Attorney's office to become Governor that there we dozens and dozens of unprosecuted cases against elected officials, most of who were Republicans. It's almost like he had a "binder full of slander" against his political opponents. Within a few months of Christie leaving, the new D.A. had charged more than 60 politicians with all sorts of crimes, usually bribery of one form or another.
Way to go Big fella, do what the Obammy admin does, lie, cheat and steal. Does anyone real expect any of these political baffoons to tell the truth ????
This is one of the problems of being considered a frontrunner for a Presidential campaign that's still two years away. Christie (and Hillary Clinton) are going to be constant targets for political sniping. I think the key question in this case is whether this particular issue will last all the way to the Presidential primaries and general election? Unless there is a lot more to the story yet to come, I doubt it. That said, there is a side of Christie that seems arrogant and mean and this sort of story adds credence to that line of attack.
Genesis 2:24 "Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh." This one verse makes it literally IMPOSSIBLE for "gays" to have a valid "marriage" in any state, regardless of what the courts say.
"Time for some traffic problems in Fort Lee"
"Got it"
If that's all that needed to be said, sounds like they already had a plan in place, just waiting for the right time
to unleash it.
Another shining example of leadership from Christie Creme. Where is the outrage over this from the tea chuggers? Kiss 2016 goodbye!
Omg!
I'm so not shocked.
We keep telling you tht he couldn't get past the vetting for vp, but some of you gop desperadoes keep seeing him in the WH.
Okay. Whatever.
ROFLMAO.

If the new train tunnel under the Hudson had been built maybe there wouldn't have been such a traffic problem in Fort Lee. Oops! Governor Traffic Jam strikes again!
Can you imagine this pettiness playing out on the national or international stage?
Me, neither. Uh-buh-bye, Christie.
