(CNN) - Rick Santorum has a new book in the works.
The former senator from Pennsylvania and 2012 Republican presidential candidate will release "Blue Collar Conservatives" this spring.

Santorum, who battled eventual GOP 2012 presidential nominee Mitt Romney deep into the primary and caucus calendar, is considering a 2016 bid for the White House.
"In Blue Collar Conservatives, Santorum will address the plight of America's working families today. A champion of the manufacturing sector, he outlines how a Republican party dedicated to hardworking families, local communities, and small-town values can assemble a winning coalition," says a release from Regnery Publishing, a leading publisher of conservative books.
Santorum, always considered a friend to social conservatives, also highlighted his blue collar values in his 2012 bid for the GOP presidential nomination. Since that election, Santorum has emphasized that the Republican Party needs to do a better job reaching out the middle class with a message of lifting up "both owners and workers."
I can only assume it will be under fiction?

Seriously ... does the media get these talking points directly from potential candidates staff members or the publishing house hoping to sell these books? Santorum is nothing more than yesterday's GOP leftovers sitting on the counter overnight.
Does the Grand Old Party REALLY want a repeat of 2012 primaries and clown car theatrics, because quite frankly this is already getting old ... fast.

It seems to me that the GOP has nothing but interchangeable morons to offer up with money to burn/waste.
Right, blue collar conservative, funny stuff there Ricky. Let me guess, we must first give more to the rich, then they will hire, and we have a trickle down economy, why didn't we think of that earlier? This is how out of touch they are, and what they need you to believe to get elected, sadly some actually believe that garbage, but they certainly know better. When is the last time the gop sponcered anything that helps workers? They are a joke!

Yes the Chamber of Commerce being yet another useless arm of the Republican Party kinda tells you whose side the Republicans are on and it sure as heck isn't the workers.
The Holy Bible (Ayatollah Santurum Version)
Ahhh, yes, the hypocracy of these so-called "blue collar conservatives" who can waste tax payer dollars with the best of them, and who want to wreck all of the programs that help blue collar families.
He lost last time, and he will lose again. He is too far to the right.
