(CNN) - New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie will deliver his annual State of the State address Tuesday, but this year's speech marks perhaps the most important of his career.
The embattled Republican, who's seriously considering a 2016 run for the White House, is facing multiple controversies that threaten to complicate his political future. Here's what to watch for in his speech.
"This will be the most watched State of the State address, most likely, across the country," said CNN Chief National Correspondent John King.

I expect Gov.Christie to "show leadership and take responsibility" for BridgeGate by laying blame at the feet of his aides, while taking no responsibility for the culture that fostered it in the first place. In other words, he'll play another royal flush of victim cards, just like he did last week.
Christie not only knew about the bridge scandal; he ordered it.
And the result is an innocent woman lost her life.
He should be really proud of himself.
democrats got nothing on christie and they know it. but that sure won't slow down their smear machine. it is all they got.
I'm taking my lunch right now...I may watch a few minutes but mostly I'll read the transcript.
What could he possibly have left to say after that almost 2-hour marathon last week?
Do they normally broadcast a state's State of the Union?
Dang, Christie has lost a lot of weight recently. He seems a bit subdued, though.
GOP is making USA worst than third world with nonsense stuff, allegations, mis-deeds etc. Pathetic party of "no".
We need a new breed of politician , one that understands the power of traffic cones !
It doesn't matter...Don't tell me that you didn't know anything if this happened back in September..You knew and is keeping your name out of it, or you are really incompetent and have some sneaky employees getting away with something bad and getting caught. From what I understand..you run a tight office..you can't so much as fart without knowing about it..so this story stinks like the SBD that just got released.
@just saying

Thanks for your input; I see you gave it your usual level of effort.
Who cares? Can't wait to see the GOBP stuff Jeb Bush down the tea potty's throats 2012 Mitt the twit style.
Who do he really think he's fooling. The economy did not get any better It has gotten worse. Only reason why the unemployment rate is down is because everyone had to go on welfare, that's were it went high at. Having people not knowing were there next meal is going to be a. Or where there going to be living at. Nothing he said got any better. Come to Newark you will see the struggles that people are going through.
"democrats got nothing on christie and they know it."
They've got documents showing this was a politically motivated stunt involving Christie's closest aide and the guy he went to high school with that he appointed to the Port Authority. That's more than you've ever produced with respect to Benghazi, IRS, NSA, Fast and Furious, etc. But go ahead, tell me about the elephants hiding in the strawberry patch. Did they paint their toenails red so they could blend in? Sneaky, tricksy elephantses...
DM4O asked:
Is this where Bear Mountain is Rudy?
It's been so long, but I remember going up to Bear Mountain on school trips, many years ago for an Indian Pow Wow.
Beautiful country, beautiful state my New York.
--------------------------
Negative. Bear Mountain is in Westchester County, less than an hour from the GWB. The northern end of the Palisades Parkway ends at the western side of Bear Mountain bridge. The areas that I'm talking about are another 2-3 hours of slow driving through the mountains, just north of Albany.
Well, he IS the governor, and he IS giving his State of the State address, so I'll save my comments for another day.
Do I care to listen to him?
Thanks, but not thanks.
Get that fat pig but good!!
Christie is a politician and like all politicians he is shady. Christie, Clinton, Obama, Scott, Paul, and etc. are all corrupt politicians who bow down to their political donors. So what`s the big surprise here?
