(CNN) – New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie said he's not angry about a recent parody song performed by Jimmy Fallon and Bruce Springsteen that mocked the bridge controversy now plaguing the Governor's administration.
In an interview with Yahoo News' Matt Bai published Monday, Christie said he received a message from Fallon saying the skit was all in good fun, and Christie's oldest son told him, "It's actually kind of cool to have Bruce saying your name."
For his part, Christie said he hasn't even watched the performance.

Christie's music idol teamed up with the late night host last week to perform a song about the bridge scandal, set to the tune of "Born to Run."
Christie's aides are accused of orchestrating a traffic jam in Fort Lee, New Jersey–which sits at the foot of the George Washington Bridge–as part of an alleged political vendetta.
The tough-talking governor denies any knowledge or involvement in the politically-motivated plot, saying in a nearly two-hour press conference earlier this month that he's "not a bully."
It's not the first time Christie has tried to push back against perceptions that he's an overly-aggressive governor. Known for his brashness, Christie said in the interview that his conduct is simply strategic at times.
"Part of politics is trying to have sharp elbows publicly in order to make a deal privately," Christie said, referring to public fights he's been in with Democratic leaders in the state legislature.
"And if you don't have the willingness and ability to do that, then the opportunity to make deals privately that benefit the public become much more difficult in my view, and in my experience."
The governor added he has no intentions of changing his style.
"I'm not growing a new personality at 51," he said.
