Palin slams Obama in MLK post
(CNN) - Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin reposted a quote from Martin Luther King, Jr.'s famous "I Have A Dream" speech on Monday–and took a swipe against President Barack Obama at the same time.
"Mr. President, in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. and all who commit to ending any racial divide, no more playing the race card," she said in a Facebook post Monday, a holiday that marks the civil rights icon's birthday.

While the 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee didn't give a specific example of Obama playing the "race card," her comment comes after the President referenced his race in a New Yorker article published over the weekend.
"There's no doubt that there's some folks who just really dislike me because they don't like the idea of a black President," Obama said.
The quote came in a section of the story about his declining poll numbers among white voters over the last year. He also lost the voting demographic by a wide margin in his 2012 re-election bid, the article notes.
According to CNN national exit polls, Obama won only 39% of the white vote.
"Now, the flip side of it is there are some black folks and maybe some white folks who really like me and give me the benefit of the doubt precisely because I'm a black President," Obama added.

I am 38 and have never seen the country more racially divided then it has been since Obama took office. White america is on the decline. We will be phased out by spanish, blacks, and muslims. Will people think differently when in a few years we are all forced to face mecca 5 times a day?
She reminds me of an audience heckler. She loves to snipe at other people but she has little to offer to the discussion. What Obama said is true, that he receives obstruction based on his skin color. Mitch McConnell made it his goal in 2008 to make him a one term president. What does this say about Mitch McConnell and the objectives of his party? My only advice to Obama is to stand above the weakness exhibited by other people. It is a position of weakness when someone refuses to deal with a standing president yet has nothing to offer to help America.

I like to say she is the Vice Presidential candidate of the failed McCain/Palin campaign of 2008. A woman who was a member of the Alaskan Separatist Party; someone who quit before the end of her term on the Alaska Oil & Gas Commission (the one that hands out "socialist" checks in the thousands of dollars to each and every Alaskan), who ran her little town into debt, and who failed to finish her term as Governor of the same state, narrowing escaping prosecution. She also quit FOX News, and her "reality" TV show tanked. Sure she no doubt made millions of dollars, but she is still as stupid as a log.

1/2 Governor Palin doesn't get out of fox enough. I thought we as a country didn't see color so much–the Republican's would like us to think that that is no issue now–ostrich time. When I heard a woman say live on TV that she would never vote for a black man I realized that race is still an issue and that these backwater slugs have no shame to say their sick bigoted opinions in front of a camera. some things you just have to save for the local KKK rally.
