(CNN) - Vice President Joe Biden will campaign for the Democratic nominee in a heated House special election in Florida that's widely considered a bellwether race for the 2014 midterms.
Biden will appear at a fundraising event for Democrat Alex Sink, Florida's former chief financial officer, next week, according to an invitation obtained by CNN.

The reception will be held Wednesday at the home of Judy and Michael Adler, two major Democratic donors, in Coral Gables, Florida. Coral Gables is not located in the 13th Congressional District, where Sink is running.
Tickets range from $1,000 to $5,000.
Sink is campaigning against Republican nominee David Jolly, who's seen a bevy of outside Republican groups spend money on his behalf.
The winner will fill the remainder of the late Republican Rep. Bill Young's term, who died in October. Young, who was first elected to Congress in 1970, was the longest serving Republican in the House.
The 13th district covers most of Pinellas County and parts of St. Petersburg. While Young captured 58% of the vote in his 2012 re-election, President Barack Obama narrowly carried the district. Obama also won it 2008, grabbing 51% support.
It is impossible to imagine Biden, the buffoon, helping anyone in a Congressional race. Seriously.

What's even harder to imagine is how on earth is Palin actually able to help? How'd she do that?

Biden is more credible than all the gop in the senate, and house put together. All of them are lined up on their on their knees right now in front of the koch brothers figuring out how to screw the American people over.
In a state full of crooked politicians, Sink stands out...as being the most crooked. Thanks, Joe, for camaigning for Sink. She doesn't need to be elected.
Tampa Tim - I was merely pointing out that there is income disparity.

there has always, always been income disparity. care to point out a time in the history of man when there was not income disparity? what is your remedy for that? say people can only make x amount a year and then the government will confiscate the rest and give it to somebody else who did absolutely nothing to earn it? please do tell us all what your solutions are. or are they too far left to disclose?

That report clearly said jobs will not be lost. People may leave them early but others could fill them maybe helping with the jobless rate. There you have it folks. Conservatives read a news report, change or lie about a key fact or two and they 'got themsef a conspircy'. Vote for the smart folks who learned cool stuff like science in school – vote liberal.

Yeah, 'cause heaven knows she's MUCH more crooked than the lobbyist she's running against, our Medicaid thief governor and his dog thief state attorney, the latter two who have recently gotten into the game of stealing private land without providing justification for their attempted theft.

She helped the Dems quite well just by showing up and fronting for the rethug candidate. Frankly, I hope she follows suit this year and 2016 as well.
NOt sure if having a rep from an administration who say's "they don't need congress" is gonna help her cause. But what do I know, I live in Clearwater and vote.
