(CNN) - While his predecessor Hillary Clinton and his colleague Vice President Joe Biden may be contemplating another White House run, Secretary of State John Kerry says he is out for 2016.
"I'm out of politics. I have no plans whatsoever. This is my last stop," Kerry said in an exclusive interview with CNN's "The Lead with Jake Tapper."

thank god.
Seriously Democrats??? ANOTHER ancient Democrat loser-reject??? Is this all the Democrat Party has? Failed policies and old failed candidates??? Yikes!
No big surprise here.
"I can't run for president again, Muffy... they just don't like me"

It's the media asking the questions, Tommy, not the Democratic Party throwing names onto a wall to see what sticks. Besides, what does the Republican Party have to offer? What has the Republican Party had to offer over the last couple of decades? You know that Republicans have lost the popular vote in 5 out of the last 6 general elections?
So, who exactly do Republicans have to offer? Isn't it Trump's turn to go? Jeb?
Good man. Just support Hillary.

Too bad he didn't do us all this favor back in 2004 when he got whooped.
"I can't run for president again, Muffy... they just don't like me"
"I can't run for President again because they just don't like me." GOP's Elephant mascot, overheard on an open microphone.
But Kerry did so well with the negotiations with Iran, even though Iran's president rebuked all of his and Obama's claims...
Good. Kerry was never that good of a representative for the people. He still isn't.
Goodness. Who stated THAT rumor?
On second thought: don't answer.
Forget polls. Liberal/progressive success is clearly indicated by the amount of clustered !!!, ???, and misspellings in conservative rants. Thanks Tommy G.
Because he didn't get the Waffle House endorsement.
I'd support this WAR VETERAN over in anyone in the GOP. There's no war the GOP isn't for. War in foreign countries, war on the middle class, war on the poor, war on women, war on democracy, war on diplomacy.
You call this an "exclusive?" What's next, a CNN "exclusive" that Hubert Humphrey is definitely not running either? I don't think anyone seriously thought Kerry was even considering running. I'm not sure it really qualifies as an "exclusive" when you ask glaringly obvious questions. CNN exclusive: the earth's atmosphere contains oxygen. Rocks sink. Fire burns. Seriously, guys...

And from the far Right, don't forget War on Non-Extreme-Christians.
Tommy's more than just a scholar, he's got him a 6th grade edumacation, top of the shelf gop blogger, go figure. His rantings clearly suggest he's at the fox news trough daily, that will do it. No quicker way to remove any shred if credibility, than quote fox news .
i can hardly wait until the stuck in the past democrats roll out walter mondale and jimmy carter.... might as well, they aren't much older than clinton and biden.

Yeah, old Genghis Khan Kerry sure did help out his fellow veterans by telling the world they were all murderers. The guy is a national disgrace.
I can understand why he doesn't want to run because it is a lot of work.
@Donna "Kerry sure did help out his fellow veterans by telling the world they were all murderers"
Can you site the speech and date he told our veterans this?
(Siting sources is like Kryptonite to conservatives.)

It must have been at least 40 years ago.
Donna – "Kerry sure did help out his fellow veterans"
Taken out of context, it actually makes a true statement. Anyone who helped our government and the American people see the idiocy of the Vietnam War not only helped Veterans of that era, but solders from then on by causing our country to value military personal and to not treat them as expendable cannon fodder, as the government did in those days.
Anyone in the service now owes a great deal to the anti-war protesters of the Vietnam War era, for making their job safer and their losses fewer. We killed over 55,000 of America's youth in Vietnam.

Thank-you. Completely out of context. I was busy and had forgotten to point that out. I would add that based upon what Donna posts, I would suspect that Donna would have opposed the war, just as most people did at the time, and would have supported what Kerry had to say.
