U.S. expands legal benefits, services for same-sex marriages

(CNN) - In a major milestone for gay rights, the U.S. government on Monday expanded recognition of same-sex marriages in federal legal matters, including bankruptcies, prison visits and survivor benefits.

"It is the (Justice Department's) policy to recognize lawful same-sex marriages as broadly as possible, to ensure equal treatment for all members of society regardless of sexual orientation," Attorney General Eric Holder said in a memo to all employees.

    Let me ask you this: if you can prevent a person who has betrayed his country from hurting and possibly maiming you and your neighbors, would you really have any qualms about him going to meet his maker?

    what proof do you have of these accusations? what judge and jury has seen the evidence and decided on the sentence? right now i have more proof of obama doing exactly what you said, than i do of anybody else overseas. so should we expect a drone strike on him? i guess due process is nothing the left ascribes to.

    Hey Bill, more parrotting of FNC misinformation and BS? Perhaps a reading of the CBO report is in order? What it stated was that between now and 2024, the POTENTIAL number of working hours lost would EQUATE to the loss of 2 million jobs. .NOT that ACA would cause the loss of those jobs. At least try to get the facts right before spouting...
