(CNN) - First lady Michelle Obama wants to know – how do you move?
The First Lady announced a new component of her “Let’s Move” initiative during her appearance Thursday on NBC's “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.”
“What we ask people to do is show us how you’re moving,” she said. “I want to see how people around the country are moving and changing the standards for health for our kids because people are doing some amazing things.”
Obama’s "Let's Move" campaign against childhood obesity starts its fourth year this week.
The First Lady encouraged people to use social media to spread the word and provided some incentive for people to get started.
“And the fun thing is, is that if we get enough of a response, we will have a little surprise. The president and maybe the vice president will show us how they move,” said Obama.
In case the two need any pointers there is the video Michelle Obama and Jimmy Fallon collaborated on during her past appearance in 2013, "Evolution Of Mom Dancing."
Starting the show with a sketch where Jimmy Fallon and fellow guest, Will Farrell, were dressed as pre-teen girls hosting a fictional show called “Ew,” the First Lady joined them sharing tips for a healthier lifestyle.
“I do try to exercise every day,” Obama said. “Exercise is not EW. You just have to find an activity that’s right for you. For example, I like to dance, play tennis, even do some push-ups.”
Jimmy Fallon’s character Sara may not have known that about the First Lady but Jimmy Fallon experienced it first hand in 2012 when he and Michelle Obama competed at the White House in a calisthenics challenge, where the two went head to head in tug of war, hula hooping, and, yes, push-ups.
Michelle Obama’s guest appearance is part of Jimmy Fallon’s debut week as the new host of The Tonight Show.
Michelle should think of significant political role in future. She looks very pleasant whenever she talks publically.
It's too soon to plug the new reality show, "Life After Barack" – a compelling scripted-reality show about a Former First Lady/newly single mom's adventures after the Obama presidency.
Episode 1: Michelle talks about how that being a First Lady automatically makes her an A-List celebrity and should be treated accordingly... or else a quick call to "old friends" in the NSA and the IRS will resolve the issue. Also, Michelle shares her feelings about "The Selfie" and her distain for the Danish Prime Minister.
Episode 5: Michelle talks about her Celebrity Boxing march with Kamala Harris and that using a steel chair was appropriate for an event named "Cold Vengeance".
Life After Barack: coming 2016
The only move we need from Michelle Obama is with her husband—out of the White House.
Our FLOTUS is so cool.
Just think of queen ann and what she would be doing now? Car elevators in the White House?
Wow, so many despise her, with reason, and she could walk into the presidency.
