Palin on Ukraine: I told you so
(CNN) - Sarah Palin may be having a bragging rights moment.
In 2008, when she was the GOP vice presidential nominee, Palin questioned in a speech whether then-Sen. Barack Obama would have the foreign policy credentials to handle a scenario in which Russian President Vladimir Putin invaded Ukraine.

"After the Russian army invaded the nation of Georgia, Senator Obama's reaction was one of indecision and moral equivalence – the kind of response that would only encourage Russia's Putin to invade Ukraine next," she said in Reno, Nevada on October 21, 2008.
The former Alaska governor was happy to highlight her prediction on Friday and scold those who criticized her 2008 comments.
"Yes, I could see this one from Alaska," she said on Facebook. That remark was a reference to a 2008 interview in which Palin argued that Alaska's proximity to Russia helped boost her foreign policy experience.
Saturday Night Live parodied her remarks in a now-famous sketch with Tina Fey, who played Palin on the show, saying "I can see Russia from my house."
On Facebook, Palin continued to explain how she anticipated a growing crisis between Russia and Ukraine, where there has now been an uncontested arrival of Russian military forces by air at a Russian base in Ukraine's Crimea region. They are believed to be Russian land forces, according to a U.S. assessment.

"I'm usually not one to Told-Ya-So, but I did, despite my accurate prediction being derided as 'an extremely far-fetched scenario' by the 'high-brow' Foreign Policy magazine."
In October 2008, Foreign Policy labeled Palin's prediction as "strange."

The important thing is not that Palin is right but rather that many so-called experts in the media are given more respect than they deserve.
Certainly in major international matters, Palin matters.
Pailin has been derided for being naive and uniformed, but she sounds a lot smarter now than the man we elected.
She is certainly no intellectual. However, her evaluation of the situation was based on common sense.....something lacking in the White House.

Who the hell cares if you were right. Sarah, no one really cares for you, probably not even many in your own family. Go away, and please stay away.
Palin has a 70% endorsement win rate. She is back at Fox because she is great for the ratings. She has a new show on the Sportsman Channel. Palin still gets high speaking rates and book sales.
So are her critics as smart and savvy as Palin. No they are just so jealous they won't give her credit.

I have two bumper stickers on my car. One says, "TEA" the other, "Don't blame me. I voted for Sarah Palin". They have been there since 2010 and I'm not removing them anytime soon.
It was the GOP under Bush who said Putin could be trusted. Now they want to blame Obama for everything. GOP are totally useless and haven't got a clue about foreign policy. They got the U.S. in 2 useless wars while Russia sat back and watched American resources go down the drain not to mention lives lost and the tens of thousands wounded in wars of choice.
Palin does not require any credentials for expressing her predictions on Pres. Obama's inability to act on serious foreign policy matters regarding China & Russia...Obama is his own worst enemy as Putin out maneuvers him at every turn as Sochi is now a distant memory compared to the Ukraine crisis...
