Congressman will not face charges in domestic incident
(CNN) – U.S. Rep. Alan Grayson of Florida will not be charged in a domestic incident with his wife, according to his office.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Department made that decision on Friday, Lauren Doney, a spokeswoman for the Florida Democrat, said in a statement.

“We are relieved that this ridiculous ordeal is over,” Doney said, noting in the statement that Grayson had done nothing wrong.
The Orlando Sentinel reported Tuesday that a judge granted a temporary protective injunction against Grayson after his wife, Lolita, filed a complaint, saying he shoved and injured her over the weekend.
But Grayson's office said witnesses who saw the incident "also reject Ms. Grayson's version of events."
Lolita Grayson, who's been married to Alan Grayson for almost 24 years, filed for divorce less than two months ago, according to the Sentinel.
Rep. Grayson, who's known for making controversial statements in the past, was first elected to Congress in 2008 but lost his 2010 re-election bid.
He ran again in 2012 and won.

Of course no charges. He only physically abused his wife. Now if he had sexually abused one of his employees and his wife worked to destroy the girl's reputation why then you would see charges! Oh wait. . . I forgot about the Clintons
Alan Grayson grilled (then) "federal" reserve chairman Bernanke on the whereabouts of $550 BILLION that he lent to foreigners. We need more people in congress to be critical of bankers like he is.
