Cruz blazing '16 path from Iowa to N.H.

Washington (CNN) – Sen. Ted Cruz will headline a second fundraiser in New Hampshire when he visits the final week of April, as the Texas Republican continues to flirt with a bid for the 2016 GOP presidential nomination.

Cruz will be the featured guest at a $500-a-plate fundraiser for Citizens for a Strong New Hampshire, a conservative organization that, among other things, is working to try and defeat Democratic Sen. Jeanne Shaheen in November.

“We are excited to welcome Senator Cruz to the Granite State and to hear from one of the leading voices in the U.S. Senate on how his efforts on Capitol Hill have advanced conservative values of limited government for all Americans,” said Mike Biundo, general consultant for the organization.

The Citizens for a Strong New Hampshire event will take place April 27 at a private home on the Seacoast, the night after Cruz is scheduled to keynote the Carroll County Republican Committee fundraising dinner in Bartlett. Ticket prices for the Carroll County fundraiser range from $60-$100.

Cruz will also visit New Hampshire in mid-April to participate in the Citizens United and Americans for Prosperity Foundation’s “Freedom Summit.” The two organizations announced that in addition to Cruz, Sen. Rand Paul, Sen. Mike Lee, Mike Huckabee, Newt Gingrich and several others would speak at the April 12 event in Manchester. Paul and Huckabee are expected to consider running for the Republican nomination.

Fourth trip to Iowa for Cruz

Cruz spoke Tuesday to the Network of Iowa Christian Home Educators and later will attend a GOP fundraiser.

Is Canadian-Born Ted Cruz Eligible to Run for President?

Will the Birthers Scrutinize Ted Cruz U.S. Citizenship? One has to wonder if the birthers will raise an outcry again

Um, Ted Cruz's father was not American at the time of his birth. He was Cuban. That's right... who happily fought alongside Fidel Castro as a teen TED CRUZ's FATHER IS A CUBAN. Rafael Bienvenido Cruz, who immigrated to the U.S. from Cuba, told NPR that though he came to the country legally, he essentially bribed an official to get out of Cuba so he could come over.In an interview near his home outside Dallas, the elder Cruz says that as a teenager, he fought alongside Fidel Castro’s forces to overthrow Cuba’s U.S.-backed dictator, Fulgencio Batista. He was caught by Batista’s forces, he says, and jailed and beaten before being released. It was 1957, and Cruz decided to get out of Cuba by applying to the University of Texas. Upon being admitted, he adds, he got a four-year student visa at the U.S. Consulate in Havana. And his mother was an American. And he was born in Calgary Alberta. I don't know how having a Cuban father makes you more American than Obama somehow.

It's all part of the gop/tea bag end game (played at the behest of the Koch brothers and their ilk): Make people desperate and fearful; take away educational opportunities and increase unemployment and reduce/continue to stagnate existing wages. You end up with a populace willing to compromise the environment and give the green light to exploit our nation's resources, regardless of the consequences to the earth or her inhabitants.

These are people who do know what Cruz stands for; what the Koch's stand for; what greed stands for. That they are on the bottom of the pecking order where these men stand doesn't matter to them. They will vote against the dems because they have been taught to think they are getting dems all worked up in an emotional lather by not voting for them. What doesn't occur to these voters is that they are being played and technically are more brainwashed then those they their point fingers at and accuse of being brainwashed. Propaganda sells and these voters are bought and paid for stooges who sadly already know they've been bought but keep coming back for dessert.
