U.S. concerned Russians not being truthful about Ukraine intentions

(CNN) - Based on intelligence, Obama administration officials are very concerned the Russians are not being truthful when they say their forces near Ukraine's eastern and southern borders are merely there for training exercises, sources tell CNN.

Officials assess that Russia - as early as coming days - could use any number of pretexts to justify further military incursions into Ukraine.

"Based on intelligence, Obama administration officials are very concerned....."

This is that real type of intelligence that allowed Obama to capture or kill terrorists on their own soil.

As opposed to the made up crayon drawings that Bush was apparently using when he invaded Iraq for terrorists that were not there and allowed 9/11 to happen with prior warnings.

Two months ago, Putin was as popular in Russia as Ted Cruz is in the senate. With his land grab in the Ukraine, Russians bought into his cries for nationalism. With President Obama's sanctions along with the European Union, the Russian market has dropped 10%. When the loss of $5 billion from these sanctions begin to kick in, the Russian people will demand Putin's ouster. Remember, you heard it here, neo cons.

The sad part of this Ukraine mess is that this never would have happend if it wasn`t for the coup that Obama and European Union supported. Is this what the US is all about now, were gonna start a coup in your country and replace your freely elected leader with a liberal.

smith – Are you denying that Bush was warned about the 9-11-2001 attacks? Remember when he was warned, he dismissed the intelligence? I am not aware of intelligence warning of McVeigh's OKC bombing, or warnings of the first tower attack. It's Friday, and I will fact check.

Smith- You are blaming Obama for the ouster of the head of Ukraine who had his own citizens killed? The military took over on Obama's orders? Wow, just wow.

    --------
There is no credible evidence Clinton knew anything ahead. New York Times, NBC, other media investigations turned up a lot of evidence the Bush had information that he blew off. And Clinton stopped a number of attempts like the west coast bomber that came in through Canada bound for LAX bombing.

I also notice you failed to comment on Bush sending 1000's to die fighting terrorists and WMD that were not there in Iraq.

Or the fact that Obama has been pretty successful using the intelligence he has gotten. There are a number of less terror bad guys out there walking around.

First, be worried as to how to fix potholes on I-95, fix LaGuardia Airport etc. Don't worry about Russia. Crimea belongs–bread does not belong to them.

    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
But Ukraine is the #3 bread-basket country in the world: If Russia needs bread, it's just across the border, within Putin's reach. WH is right not to trust Russia's aggression.

Smith, let me tell you a bald fact, Bush knew Bin Laden in Torah Bora–let him escape, for political reasons. Bush, Dick Cheney the criminal knew Laden in Pakistan–Bush was an idiot, retard to believe a rogue nation, Pakistan. When an ordinary man knew, how come Bush did not know? You answer. Don't let facts jump off of Fox garbage.

For the Blame Bush club: Bin Laden was in the Sudan, when Susan Rice let him leave the country under Clinton, long before Bush, without tracing his bank accounts. Just, okay, bye.

Remember that funny bit where George Bush is looking around and under his desk for WMD's. Maybe Putin could do something like that looking for Russian speaking people being picked on be Crimean's. Wouldn't that be funny?

    Aw,So,
The situation in Crimea/Ukraine serious all right. Just like when Hitler began his excursions that lead to WW-2.
Putin wants to Re-Invent the old Soviet Union. They tried to Appease Hitler. It didn't work. At the time the West looked, was weak. Nobody wanted another War so they looked the other way. Right or wrong, our Feerless leader looks, uh, weak.
As much as the Left ignores it, we can't survive on Food Stamps and Welfare/Unemployment Checks. Our Fearless Secretary of Defense is talking about cutting the Armed forces back to 1940 levels.

Because of Liberal Policies in the West Putin sees a big opportunity to expand his influence. Talk is cheap. Our Fearless leader makes amateur mistakes that they laugh about. .

On the other hand his "Big" Accomplishment "Obama Care" is a Smashing Success. Too many Campaign's, too many "Passing the Buck".
