GOP 2016 hopefuls address big donors in Vegas

(CNN) - They may have their sights set on the White House, but Saturday they were in Sin City, talking up donation high rollers.

Several GOP leaders spoke at the Republican Jewish Coalition's annual spring leadership meeting in Las Vegas, where some of the party's most influential donors and fundraisers meet to talk politics and policy.

In a world of smart phones and smart cars, the Internet is no longer limited to your desktop; it follows you wherever you go. And as long as you are online, you could potentially be tracked at all times.

While all eyes are on the National Security Agency's bulk collection of data, a thriving economy built on mass consumer surveillance is growing. Companies are collecting information about consumers in order to sell ads more effectively.

Scott Walker highlights executive experience to GOP donors

(CNN) - Touting his executive experience and Wisconsin's success, it certainly sounded like he was running for national office. But Scott Walker wanted to make one thing clear Saturday: Anyone focused on 2016 has the wrong idea.

"Any Republican who's talking about anything other than 2014 is doing a disservice both to the party and to the country," he said.

Biden pushes for minimum wage hike in White House weekly address

(CNN) - Vice President Joe Biden continued the Obama administration's call for an increase in the minimum wage for all workers.

Biden's Saturday address comes after President Barack Obama announced in February that in 2015 businesses with new or renewed federal contracts will have to pay their minimum wage workers $10.10 an hour.

GOP pushes for accountability bill in VA reform in weekly address

(CNN) - Republicans in their weekly address Saturday slammed the Department of Veterans Affairs for keeping soldiers waiting for their disability checks.

In calling for support of the VA Management Accountability Act, Rep. Jackie Walorski associated crippling bureaucracy in the agency to preventable deaths of patients waiting for their paper work to go through.
