Dilemmas of the Internet age

In a world of smart phones and smart cars, the Internet is no longer limited to your desktop; it follows you wherever you go. And as long as you are online, you could potentially be tracked at all times.

While all eyes are on the National Security Agency's bulk collection of data, a thriving economy built on mass consumer surveillance is growing. Companies are collecting information about consumers in order to sell ads more effectively.

--I don't know all these things, but communication/internet companies are robbing the nation by charging outrageously. Greed needs to be stopped. More companies needed in market thus price is reduced.

    Stop Facebook and Twitter too.
They are more invasive and people tell more about their lives and what they do or go than the NSA could ever discover and it comes with pictures of your kids!

The real dilemma, for Obama, is that even after he seized control of most of the media, to keep the people from knowing the truth........the truth still gets out through all of the blogs. Obama can't really hide the truth anymore, the way he wants to.

No kidding. The commodiification of all aspects of society is in overdrive. Our most important role as humans are to be good consumers. This is not progress.

Oh wow... look at that massive crowd of EIGHT useful idiots pretending they know anything about anything. If you added up all of their work experience years you would arrive at a total of ZERO, which is exactly what their nutty extremist opinions are worth.

They are the face of the far left Democrat Party. Code Know-Nothing...
