Each dollar now seems like a voice; money equals speech per the Roberts court. Now the average person can't afford to run for office.

So, my fellow Democrats. You see how things are stacked against us. Are you going to sit back on your butts this year and let the GOP take control of both houses? SHAME ON YOU for being too lazy or too busy to vote in 2010. Do you think the Tea Baggers sat out that election? THAT is why we are stuck with Boehner, Ryan and Cantor. WISE UP AND VOTE!!!!!

Buying elections are okay. If you have money you can influence any election across the country. Money does talk even if it is not the truth.

  9. Hound Ralph Nader to His Grave . . . He Gave Us This SCOTUS

Ego maniacal Nader ran against Gore in 2000 and peeled off enough votes to allow Bush to win. That gave us Roberts & Alito on the court which in turn gave us Citizen`s United AND this ruling. The so-called Conservatives will come as close as they can to a "free-market" world where prople sell their votes to the Adelsons` of the world. A true conservative would seek to advance and preserve the democracy power of the common American man and woman, not whittle it away.

Our country continues down the path where only the rich will be able to vote, afford to vote or buy favors from elected officials.
There's a democracy for you. Communism, except for the voting part, is alive and well in the US thanks to the men on the SCOTUS!

I think a poster had it right yesterday. While Little Bush did not completely destroy America, his Supreme Court picks will.
