African-American lawmakers ask Army to reconsider new hairstyle rule
Washington (CNN) - African-American female lawmakers are taking the Army to task for a new ban on a number of ethnic hairstyles, guidelines which some are calling racially discriminatory.
The group from the Congressional Black Caucus wrote Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel on Thursday urging the military to reconsider the rule.

i never realized loose hair, lop sided hairstyles and uneven parts were the sole domain of minorities! honestly how stupid is this country getting? the looney leftists are now even claiming hair rules are racist. no wonder the world is laughing at us.

well,. I think we all know CNN is a little slow on the uptake. Plus, they're really going for pushing the race-button today.
Either uniform haircuts or not. Any special treatment will be interpreted in the worst way.
It is pretty simple people. If you don't like the rules and regs of the military, don't sign up. It is VOLUNTARY, remember? If you think your hair style is that important, then you need to find another line of work. If I was a commander in the Army, your flippin' hairstyle would be the last thing on my mind. Now drop and give me 20!!
Shave them ALL bald. End of story. Don't like it? Too bad, it's the army, not a beauty pageant.

Yeah, it's totally crazy to think that a bunch of "hair rules" written by old white military men who've lived their lives with a crew cut could ever possibly be, intentionally or not, insensitive to some of the issues regarding women's and/or minorities' hairstyles and the way their hair works. Just total insane.
Is this supposed to make some sort of difference in my life?
Make children in school wear uniforms and stop most of the bullying ? ? ? And save money to ? Wear what u want on fridays ?

That's right! Everyone in the military should get FREE HAIRSTYLES of his or her choice. That way, we don't offend anyone. Women and minorities for centuries have been forced to where hairstyles set forth by white people. It is a shame!
What is the best hair style to wear under a helmet ?
Yes, because a double hair part is so much important than discrimination and rape!
