Rolling Stone cover: Wrong Constitutional ink

(CNN) - Whoops!

In a bizarre rendition of the Constitution–coming in the form of a faux tattoo on the bare back of "Veep" star Julia Louis-Dreyfus–there appears to be a glaring inaccuracy.

The image appears on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine.

On the left-hand corner of her lower back is John Hancock's famous signature. But the American Revolution figure didn't sign the Constitution; he's known for signing the Declaration of Independence.

The actress poked fun at the mistake on Twitter, blaming it on a character on her HBO show who's known for messing up from time to time.

I frankly don't care. Maybe they intentionally did it. I like that Julia can find the humor in it. I love this show by the way.

Who in their right mind is paying any attention to the accuracy of the tattoo in that photo? Man...it's like she doesn't even age. Good for her.

Whoa! Stop the presses. A faux-tattoo version of the U.S. Constitution on an actresses' back for a magazine cover.... has a mistake.... stunning!
Sorry, CNN- a misfile, this one belongs someplace else.

Why is this important? Because the Constitution was a coop against the people who actually fought the war. Thomas Jefferson was opposed to the Constitution because it didn't guarantee rights against our federal government. The people who signed the DOI like John Hancock were anti-federalists; they gave us the Bill of Rights.

Never liked Seinfeld. I'm more of a GoT [Game of Thrones] man, myself. Lots of political intrigue.
I'm glad they have devoted more time towards the plot than the cheap thrills with each season.

    Uh,
It is long overdue that too many people ignore the Constitution. Because of that we have the Government we have today. The Liberals and Progressives and people that elected them are in for a big shock.

Rolling Stone is a liberal publication.........the liberals are totally ignoring the Declaration of Independence, and the constitution of the U.S. They are total subversives, who are attacking the freedom of this country, at every turn.

It's really pathetic when one can post a comment telling the President to jump off a building but another can't even say hi to a friend....liberal media my great Aunt Bessy's rear.

Maybe that's why the editors messed up on the correct document - the luscious pose kept distracting them!

Right now I am thanking God, Allah, Buddha, and nature's Goddess that the USA is not a Christian Theocracy.
Can you imagine this person making moral laws as a politician?
Don't laugh – there are powerful people in the US that would want a Theocracy.

Silence, I like most blacks, was raised in the church. Bible study, choir, vacation bible school, etc. But THAT would scare the bejeezus out of me. It would be like living under the Taliban.

Just like the Founders of this Great Land, we should be all about discussion, philosophy, and all manner of religious tolerance. Our collective morality should dictate our future, not one sect of one religion.

“Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason, then that of blindfolded fear.”
~Founding Father Thomas Jefferson, letter to Peter Carr, August 10, 17872
