Woman throws shoe at Hillary Clinton
(CNN) – A woman hurled a shoe at Hillary Clinton on Thursday during a speech in Las Vegas, according to the Secret Service.
She ducked and it missed her, joking afterward about the incident that occurred during an appearance before a recycling trade group.

"My goodness, I didn't know solid waste management was so controversial," she quipped.
"Thank goodness she didn't play softball like I did," she added.
The Secret Service took the woman into custody. They said she was not a ticketed guest and slipped past hotel security.
She was not named and only identified as a protester. But it was not clear what she was protesting.
The incident happened shortly after Clinton took the stage to address the meeting at the Mandalay Bay hotel-casino.
Mark Carpenter, spokesman for The Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries, said the woman was not affiliated with his group and was not credentialed for the event.
He said she "must have slipped under the rope at the last second."
"I saw papers fly when the protester stood up. I saw papers flying in the air," he said.
Carpenter said there were about 1,000 people in attendance.
Clinton's appearance is the latest in a series of high-profile speaking engagements for the former secretary of state since leaving the Obama administration. She is considered the overwhelming favorite for the Democratic nomination in the 2016 presidential race.

A few years ago a crazy man threw a shoe at president Bush, luckily he dogged it with his cat like reflexes and avoided any harm or added humiliation. But not soon after many people commented how scared he looked and how he did not take this action seriously and added humor to the situation. He was destroyed in the comments section and on media outlets. Now this same action happens to Hilary Clinton and she also uses her cat like reflexes to avoid harm and she cracks jokes and she be hailed a hero. They will probably say "Wow she is so funny and quick witted, maybe she would make a great president because she can react so fast to a chaotic situation" or "Why don't these crazy people throw shoes at Republicans?" The comments will be the total opposite of the Bush shoe throwing incident. In fact Rachael Maddow will probably do a segment on it and Hilary will come out looking very presidential. Maybe they will even throw in a few stills of when it happened to president Bush, but they will be slow motion and bad angle and only included the scared panicked face. Or no one will comment at all because in the grand scheme of things this story isn't really news unless a Republican is being hit with a shoe.

How is it the shoe thrower was a protester without a cause or clue? Even for those who don't like Hilary Clinton, this is bizarre.

I just recently set myself free by learning to trade and anybody can do this as far as I'm concerned you just need to go to the right place. Check out the website Traders Superstore, just Google them you should be able to find them, these guys are really doing it right and make you wonder why everybody isn't like them. You can make $2000 a week trading all you need to do is learn how, if I can do it anybody can.

Yup! on the speaking tour. So how much money are people paying her to speak? Does anyone care what she thinks? We don't need any more political dynasties. God knows, we have Ted Kennedy Jr running in Connecticut and the younger Joe Kennedy running for re-election in Congress. Not to mention Caroline calling in favors to get the Ambassadorship. WOW!!! Five years in jail would be about right. What if the shoe had hit her in the face? Why do we let things like this happen in the good old USA? Lets stop this mess, all we need to do is look at what our kids are (now) doing. Is this the new USA? Were better then this, right? Why is the Secret Service with Hillary Clinton?
Former President Bill Clinton DOES NOT have Secret Service protection; and as far as I know Hillary has not announced she's running for President in 2016, nor hve Democrats picked her.

While I don't think much of Hillary's abilities (specific to her seat-holding as Sect'y of State) No one but no one should throw a shoe. They should show respect.
Remember that folks in public service are doing a tough job. If you don't like their work you have a vote or you can jump in the arena yourself.
