Time for the U.S. to deal with it's domestic situation, and let the Middle East sort this out. As long as Israel has our "support", they manage to remain completely unmotivated to seriously engage their neighbors, and continue getting our financial, trade and military support. We may certainly help facilitate Peace in a two-nation solution, we simply should not dictate it nor pay for it.

The Palestinians have zero intention of making peace. They never have. That is clearly evident by 50 yrs. of peace efforts.

Doesn't matter which faction we are talking about........Fatah, or Hamas. They simply want to keep raking in lots of foreign aid, to support themselves, while they pretend, to want to make peace. Too many countries, are obliging them, and it is all just a waste.

When Israel truly wants peace--they will make it happen. It will never happen as long as the USA continues to play Daddy Warbucks to any of the contingents in the Middle East including Israel. Either that, or make Israel a state and be done with it.

It makes sense because how can you talk to a group (or person) who has declared that their goal is to kill you? If Hamas reforms their charter and stops the bombings and missiles from areas they control, then I might be satisfied with with the consolidation.
