  1. Are you kidding me?

Our president should get credit. If the GOP actually did anything the rate would be much lower.

Of course, President Obama deserves credit for the unemployment rate declining. As President, he would get all the blame if it increased.

I don't buy into the nonsense of the Obama-haters out there who don't want to give him credit for anything positive. If Romney were President and the rate were falling like this, they'd be high-fiving each other on Fox News.

Will the republicans finally take credit for creating the unemployment mess to begin with? They were in power when it all fell apart. Do any of you remember this fact?

If the unemployment numbers were unfavorable, you KNOW we wouldn't hear the last of it from the Republicans.. so YES.
YES, he deserves credit for the favorable numbers, especially since the Republicans get re-elected by running on JOBS-JOBS-JOBS then did absolutely nothing but obstruct, and focus on social issues when they were taking breaks from yelling "Benghazi-Benghazi-Benghazi".

    Two words . . . HELL YES.

The man has given us how many months of job creation compared to the JOB EROSION that he inherited from #43?

And during that entire the Republicans have tried to convince us that the numbers were incorrect, being cooked, being manipulated. And so now that the numbers are getting even more robust, despite the GOP BLOCKING EVERY JOB CREATION MEASURE THE president has put forth, now. some how, the President Obama is not supposed to get credit.

If this was bad news story, he surely would be blamed. To the victor go the spoils . . . unless we want to change the rules for the darker skinned Comanader in Chief.

He does deserve credit but he won't get it. Just as he deserved credit from for keeping the country from falling into a full scale depression when W left office. Oh, I know, "blame Bush". Well your right. I do blame Bush for a whole lot of things...a destroyed economy, a destroyed global image, thousands upon thousands of needlessly filled graves, two unbudgeted wars, and on, and on, and on. But he was just a mirror for the GOTP which is determined to make this the Corporate States of America, with a limited liability party.

The labor force shrunk by 800,000 in April. Only 62% of those able to work have jobs. This is the worst participation since the Carter administration. And we celebrate this?

If you are going to blame Obama for every wait at the pharmacy, and every rain cloud in the sky; then you have to give Obama credit for the good things that happens as well.
If you don't give Obama credit for this, then you are a hypocrite, or a Republican, which is the same thing.

Show me a policy that he has initiated that points directly to job creation and I'll show 3 that have killed or suppressed job growth.

Unemployment is not dropping...the figures are not indicative as to what is really happening in our country. People are actually dropping out of the unemployment benefits and they are not included in the percentage calculation which is stupid because they are still unemployed. Also welfare recipients should be included in this percentage because these people are unemployed and are collecting government benefits. The real unemployment is more like 12% so why is the labor department sugar-coating it. Let us get real and see the seriousness of the lack of jobs here in our country.. Instead of Obama doing his fundraising, he should be out there trying to create jobs for the American people as that was what he was elected to do and he is not showing any interest in doing that.

What a freaking stupid article. Obama has been demonized by the right for policies put in effect prior to his first inauguration due in part to the right wings unwillingness to accept that their policy making has been disastrous to America to begin with. Give him credit for the rebound from the worst recession America has ever seen under any one presidential watch; a President I might add that did nothing to cause said recession? That will be the day. GOPers spend like drunken sailors. GOPers whine like the crybabies they have become. GOPers never ever admit they are wrong.

Of course the Obama administration deserves no credit for falling unemployment!. It's due to the policies of this administration that's this recovery is taking so long.
