Lynne Cheney: Partisanship is a Madisonian principle

(CNN) - Lynne Cheney has spent decades studying and admiring the nation's fourth president, James Madison.

Her new book, "James Madison: A Life Reconsidered" is a labor of political admiration that began five years ago and culminated in a historical journey in which Madison, the father of the Constitution, also becomes a prophet of productive conservatism.

LOL! This is the same twit who just responded to the Lewinsky article in Vanity Fair by floating the theory that Hillary Clinton was behind it. She deserves zero credence.

When James Madison died, he still owned about 100 slaves. He freed none of them, not even Paul Jennings, his valet.

  3. The Elephant in the Room

I would not trust anyone named Cheney to write accurately about President Madison or his politics. Lynne Cheney is the Absolute least person to "INTEPRET" what Madison believe. She would only attempt to misuse his historical legitamacy & legacy for her own purposes. If I were a descendant of Madison, I would tell her to stop trading on Great, Great, Great Grandpa`s credibility.[That`s the GOP way . . . just ask Colin Powell about having his credibility hijacked.]

  4. What's in that Tea Anyway?

I'm sure the GOP/TeePee'rs are eating it up. I wonder if they realize if "good ole Dick" went anywhere outside the United States he would certainly be arrested and headed to the Haag for War Crimes. But these geniuses say Pres. Obama is the most corrupt president in this nation's history. You simply can't make up stupid like that.
