Bitcoin OK for politics, with $100 limit
Washington (CNN) – The Federal Election Commission on Thursday approved the use of the alternative currency Bitcoin for political contributions with limits of $100 per donor per election cycle.
The 6-member panel voted unanimously to allow the contributions, a move that could open the floodgates for donors to make political contributions with the digital currency in the upcoming midterm elections.

BitCoin makes it easier to hide donation sources. The Kochs will love it. Now we will have no idea what wack-job clubs and organizations they are funding or running.

I thought bitcoin crashed, or went belly up, or something. I wouldln't trust it.

A bitcoin exchange failed. Even if bitcoin disappears, derivatives and new "coins" will appear.
Libertarians (real ones, not Rand Paul) love it because it is unregulated.

I didn't say that at all. Anyone can and will use bitcoin. I was saying that those who have demonstrated in the past a desire to remain hidden will find this a new opportunity. The Koch's have generally tried to hide, while most rich Dems have made their agenda clear.
