(CNN) - Nearly a week after the Republican-led House approved a select committee to investigate the terror attack in Benghazi, Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi indicates there’s been no decision from her caucus on whether to join the effort.
"We'll see," the California congresswoman said on Wednesday when asked by CNN's Wolf Blitzer if Democrats would participate.

"We want to show the public how unfair this process is," she said appearing on "The Situation Room," demanding that Democrats have equal access to witnesses in the investigation.
"We'll have to make a decision as to what the best way is to showcase their unfairness," she said.
House Democrats remain divided on participating, and Pelosi reiterated complaints from the left that Congress has already held multiple hearings on the September 2012 armed assault on the U.S. diplomatic compound that killed four Americans, including Ambassador Christopher Stevens.
House Speaker John Boehner said last week that Democratic absence from the panel wouldn't impede the committee, though it would require the GOP group to "adhere to a higher standard."
Rove makes Hillary stronger
Pelosi also weighed in on the recent uproar over Republican strategist Karl Rove's suggestion that a 2012 Hillary Clinton health scare – she fell and was hospitalized briefly with a concussion - left her with a brain injury.
Political figures and groups on both sides of the aisle have condemned the comments, and Pelosi believes Rove’s statements will only boost her popularity as she weighs whether to launch a bid for the 2016 presidential nomination.
"I think Hillary's strength, the popularity that she's enjoyed has driven the Republicans to their wit’s end. What he said is just - he only makes her stronger," she said.
Clinton's health has been tested by her tenure as America’s top diplomat and her 2008 run for president, Pelosi said, and besides, she added, Rove is nearly as old Clinton.
Clinton did not mention Rove’s comments in public on Wednesday, but her husband came to her defense, saying she was “strong” and that he was “dumbfounded” by what Rove said.
