Blogger's arrest shakes up Mississippi Republican primary

Updated 2:30 p.m. ET, 5/18/2014

(CNN) - The arrest of a man who allegedly obtained an image of a senator's bedridden wife has shaken up an already intense Republican primary battle in Mississippi.

Political blogger Clayton Kelly was arrested Thursday, accused of exploiting a vulnerable adult and illegally and improperly obtaining a photo of her without her consent for his own benefit, according to the Madison Police Department.

Chris McDaniel is a lawyer, radio commentator, and Mississippi state senator. With tea party support and endorsements from Club for Growth and Sarah Palin, he is challenging Cochran.

what wouldn't repubs do for power. i really don't give a dam about none of them and what they do to each other. what i care about is this organized plan to hold our country back so they can blame the president. people are willing electing these folks to deliberately elected just to not write any legislation so that this president could sign into law. they are forcing the president to go out on his own signing executive orders left and right to move this country forward, we are a three head governement, the repubs owns 2 of the three heads, in the judicial branch and the legislative branch, the dems owns the executive branch, if the legislative branch refuse to do its job the executive branch can only do executive orders. executive orders does not have much power, but this is what the president has to do to move this country forward, since the repubs comes to congress to sit on their hands and refuse to write legislation so that the president can sign. have you seen our infrastructure lately, have you seen china. who's government is investing like hell to over take america number one status, while the repubs holds our country back for political reasons. i wonder will we gain back that momentum to catch up back with china.
