At Yale, John Kerry knocks Donald Sterling

(CNN) - Secretary of State John Kerry slammed Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling in address to graduates at Yale University on Sunday.

"You are graduating today as the most diverse class in Yale's long history," he said. "Or as they call it in the NBA, Donald Sterling's worst nightmare."

Kerry made his remarks as the featured speaker at Yale's Class Day exercises during commencement weekend.

His joke comes after Sterling repeatedly denied he is a racist in an exclusive interview with CNN's "AC 360" last week, despite remarks made in a private conversation with his friend V. Stiviano that were released online.

Isn't this the guy who tried to avoid paying taxes by docking his 7 million dollar yacht in Rhode Island? By not paying your "fair share" you denied food and clothing for the poor, so because of that you are a racist.

Kerry ought to look in the mirror and see the hideous face he makes us look at before he opens his trap about someone else.

Because after all if you call all American Vietnam vets war criminals, throw your medals at the white house, claim three purple hearts for self inflicted wounds, lie in your book repeatedly, shoot an unarmed wounded Vietcom to earn a silver star, divorce your millionaire wife to marry a billionaire wife you certainly should be judging someone.

To add to what Michael said above, Kerry, you called Israel Apartheid state, that shows how much you do not know about the country you deal with. Israeli citizens comprise of people that came from 160 countries to include blacks from Africa as well as Arabs that lives in Israel proper and all are treated under the same laws of the state. They do not discriminate against Black Israelis or any others regardless of race, religion, color of their skin or even party affiliation.
You are the last one to comment of Sterling remark or any one else.

  9. What's in that Tea Anyway?

Wow...its so amazing that bigots are coming out of the wood works. You have the police commissioner in NH, Cliven Bundy, and idiot Donald Sterling. So much hatred for African Americans. Its not like they just showed in this country when Pres. Obama was elected...they were already here.... Just amazing.

Typical of Kerry to pick jabs at someone rather than dong his job. He did it in the military, throughout his career as a senator and now as Secretary of State.

Too many people here making too much of a "joke" Kerry said. People need to chill out. Sterling does not need anyone "defending" him here....he made his own case of "defending" himself to Anderson on CNN and he just dug his hole even deeper. If the NBA finds that he has broke the rules of his franchise, they have every legal right to take his franchise away.......this is what he agreed to when he got involved with the NBA. He knew the rules when he bought into it. And most likely he will lose his team and become even richer!! He can then find some new honey 50 years his junior to "hook up" with. What a "horrible" deal for him........

While I certainly do not agree with anything Sterling says, I think the Secretary of State should stay above and out of it. Classless Kerry.

Kerry is just jealous because he is doing a terrible job with our foreign policy and media is not paying attention to him anymore. now he wants to get back into the buzz of things...so he will not look so simple minded. Kerry join a circus please....then you can continue to be the "lead circus clown".

He can own anything he wants. He's filthy rich, he can get any kind of pretty women he wants, money talks, plenty of gold diggers out there that will drop their panties for some cash. The NBA? Useless, politically correct, league.

And . . . . . . this is why the teaklans are losing followers.
Kids nowadays don't have the hang ups that their grandparents, and even some parents, have about race, religion or se xual (is that better CNN?) orientation.
