Romney calls for NH police commissioner to apologize, resign for Obama slur
(CNN) - Mitt Romney is calling on a police commissioner to apologize and resign after using the N-word to describe President Obama
"The vile epithet used and confirmed by the commissioner has no place in our community: He should apologize and resign,” Romney said Sunday in a statement provided to CNN.

Robert Copeland, 82, is the police commissioner in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire - where Romney owns a home and spends a lot of time.
On Thursday evening Copeland refused to apologize at a town meeting for using the term.
The Boston Herald first reported Romney's statement.

Headline makes it sound like Romney wants an apology directly from the President , not from a third party who made a comment. That's how I read it, that is quite misleading.
So where is all the apathy and contempt for Romney now? I say hats off to the guy for making the right call. The guy should resign.
How to say the N word without moving your lips:
Say nothing about black-on-black violent crime
tell romney to fight his own battles and leave the niger alone ( niger as in african nations and rivers and the true origina of the word with only a single g )
this is something that needs to clarified after 150 years anyway and no media service has the guts to do it
At 82 you need to be retired, not running a police dept. Old people are really getting in the way of progress. Maybe we should have restrictions on old people like what type of job they can have after a certain age, drivers licenses and the ability to vote. Or do we want more of this guy in public offices?

Mr. Copeland is simply expressing a view that is prevelant on his side of the political spectrum. And Mr. Romney is thinking he needs more Black votes in 2016

While the thought of an apology is a good one; I disagree that this guy or anyone else should apologize. I disagree completely with Copeland, Limpgaugh, Akin, Bundy and others of this ilk. My desire is that every racists be exposed like Copeland and Bundy so the whole world can see these people for who they are.
This is just tragic on so many levels. We should leave these old people alone.

I mean, seriously what else can you say about him that would convince anyone that President Obama can be called such a stupid word? Is he poor? Unemployed? Unsuccessful? (as if such things would qualify) He's the "Leader of the Free World" for crying out loud! No one really cares about what issues some poorly aged, obscure police commissioner has about the President.
