Washington (CNN) - President Barack Obama will announce plans Friday to nominate San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro to be his next secretary of Housing and Urban Development, a government source said.
The 39-year old, three-term mayor first gained national recognition when he delivered the keynote address at the 2012 Democratic National Convention - the first Hispanic to do so.
You sure that's not jimmy fallon?
The Senate shouls reject this nomination. This person will be VERY BAD for our country. Very bad indeed.
I believe Mr. Castro will do an awesome job. Congratulations Mayor Castro you make us Texans proud unlike Perry, Cruz, and Cornyn.

Really? How so?
An outstanding choice for Sec. of HUD. Mayor Castro has done an excellent job as mayor of San Antonio and is a rising star in Democratic politics here in Texas. He will serve both President Obama and the country with distinction.
Oh come on Mallory.... Surely you jest. You know Mayor Castro is going to help President Obama become an even bigger dictator, take over the world and enslave people like little Ricky.....
Was I whacky enough???
This, in a small country town in south central mi., she's gone now.
Maybe Mr. Castro can try and spend another $200M on a useless streetcar to nowhere like he is trying San Antonio against the tax payers wishes.
