The chief architect to government obstruction, Cantor, loses to an even more right wing nut. So much for Eric being a young gun.

No tears for Rep Cantor. The Republican Party isn't reinventing itself. It is on the road to self destruction.

1.0 I would expect a thorough, professional journalism piece to talk about the election parameters that are relevant. For example, how do the 70,000 votes cast compare to past primaries? This helps to put the results in perspective.

The Democrats are going to need to draw hard and distinct line now between the ever-right-lurching GOP. As the Tea Party asserts itself, expect more of the "Do-Nothing" Congress. Harry Reid will have to prevent even more fillibustering.

The DNCC should make an effort to get latinos out for the 2014 midterms because the GOP certainly be anti-immigration. The only path to immigration reform is for latinos to turnout in high percentages in EVERY election to help return the House of Representatives to Democratic control.

Some reptile species eat their own. It's called cannibalism. Republicans, apparently have the same mindset, and it's funny.

Honestly, every time I hear a man or woman qualifying him/herself as 'more conservative than...' I remember the incredible stupid true story about the widespread deaths by lead poisoning in the XVIII Century.
    Please allow me to explain.
Someone decided that the fashion among the noblesse was to be as white as chalk, and the most used make-up to achieve that goal was lead based. So, of course, noblemen and women started to get poisoned with their make-up...
But did they realized that it was the make-up that was causing them all those problems with their health? Did they believed in the physicians that tried to make them stop using make-up because it would cause their deaths?
No, of course not. White was the fashion, and they submitted themselves to all sort of wacky 'treatments' available and (just to proof to those 'quacks' that the make-up wasn't the cause of the illness they had) applied even MORE lead-based make-up on their faces and hands!
The extremism of the Tea Party folks is driving away reasonable conservatives (now labeled as RINO) from the Republican Party, and didn't fared as espected in the last election... but what is the solution they come up with?
    Even more extremism!

I thought that it might be funny if he lost. Now it seems tragic and sad for Cantor. If the primary opponent wins the House seat, then it will be really sad.

  25. The Republican Party Is Dead To Me

The only sad thing here: The republican party just inherited one of the extreme nuts, as opposed to just a run of the mill nut.
The more extreme they get, the more danger we're all in. They want violence to end all disagreements, not common sense.
