(CNN) - President Barack Obama is in tip-top shape, according to a physical exam released Thursday by the White House.
Dr. Ronny L. Jackson, director of the White House's medical unit, described Obama's overall health as "excellent."
An otherwise healthy commander in chief, the report shows that Obama, 52, takes ibuprofen to treat intermittent plantar fasciitis in his right foot, a supplement for a mild vitamin D deficiency and the occasional nicotine gum - a residual effect of an old smoking habit.
"All clinical data indicates that the President is currently healthy and that he will remain so for the duration of his Presidency," Jackson said in a memo.
The exam was conducted in May and is the third medical report released by the White House in Obama's presidency.
