Hillary Clinton shakes stalking squirrel’s hand, gives him book
(CNN) - About eight minutes before the start of CNN’s town hall meeting Tuesday, Hillary Clinton’s motorcade pulled off to the side of the street and the former secretary of state stepped out to greet a giant orange squirrel.
"Hello, Mr. Squirrel, how are you?" she said as she walked toward him and handed him a signed copy of her book “Hard Choices.”

The squirrel mascot — who’s actually an intern with the Republican National Committee - has been following Clinton around to recent events and wears a shirt that says “Another Clinton in the White House is NUTS.”
The RNC has been a leading group in attacking Clinton's record as she considers making another presidential bid.
"I wanted you to get you a copy of my book,” Clinton said, smiling.
“I hope that you will make the hard choice and read my book," she added. "But you bring a smile to a lot of people's face."
"Thank you, Mr. Squirrel," she continued, as she shook his hand. "Thank you so much."
As bystanders cheered, she started walking back to her car and gave a big wave. "Thanks, everybody."
She got back into the car with just over six minutes to spare before the start of the event.
The squirrel's Twitter account later stated: "Thank you, @HillaryClinton! I love fiction!"
Why cancel Cross fire if only to silence Hillary's critics?
Do you feel the hour+ is balanced journalism? It is like CNN has a vested interest in her book sales and her running?
"Hard Choices" fiction?! More like a horror story.
Well, if it had been confronting a Republican, the squirrel would have been shot, and skinned alive amid peals of laughter.. However, since the squirrel received a book, it may have the effect of turning the person wearing the squirrel suit into a thinking voter ( in other words, a Democrat). That is based, however, on the assumption the wearer of the suit can read something that does not have pictures or require coloring: given the abysmal level of ignorance routinely displayed by conservatives( Is someone reading this to you, Donna?), don't hold out much hope. I guess this is how they hope to inspire a new generation of even more intellectually challenged Conservatives to demonstrate how incapable they are of taking our nation seriously.
Perhaps the dumbest stunt Republicans have ever pulled.

If this were a person from a democratic position making appearances at a republican event, the republicans would first get physical and assault said person, or at the very least call authorities and have the person arrested for trespass. But since it's a republican stunt, albeit a childish one, it's considered appropriate. This is just another reason to view all republicans with a lot of distrust.
When people or a political party continue to turn a blind eye to anything positive an opponent or adversary has done at anytime in their lives.... doesn't that person or party lose ALL CREDIBILITY? When do we as humans say enough is enough? Really let's stop the nonsense and build our country the way our forefathers intended. There is common ground to be found, but we have to be willing to stand up to blind hatred and intolerance! Grow up America.
