Sonia Sotomayor sets kids upon Hillary Clinton

(CNN) - It was a mad dash to hug Hillary Clinton.

Toward the end of an event Friday at the Bronx Children’s Museum, Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor set dozens of kids upon the former secretary of state, urging them to hug her and other leaders who attended.

But first, Sotomayor got the children fired up.

"I need for you to do something right now," she said, holding a microphone and standing among a hoard of kids wearing bright green t-shirts. "I need for you to jump up and down and say thank you for caring for me!"

"On the count of three," she continued.

But it was too late. The kids, eager to take any chance to jump, had already stood up and started enthusiastically bouncing off the ground, some with their hands waving wildly in the air.

After a few seconds - some of them still hopping - Sotomayor gave them another task.

"I'm going to scare all of these important people," she said, pointing to Clinton and a few adults who were sitting just feet away on the front row of the auditorium. "I want a bunch of you to go to each of them and hug them and say thank you."

Unsure if it was really OK, the kids hesitated for a second, then quickly swarmed together and bee-lined for the former first lady.

After about 20 seconds of what had clearly become overwhelming excitement, Sotomayor injected. "Alright, don't go crazy."

"Alright, you've got to be careful," she added, this time her voice a little louder.

Suddenly the Supreme Court justice found herself dealing with crowd control.

"C'mon back. C'mon back. C'mon back guys. Come sit," she said.

Smiling the whole time, Clinton tried to hug, pat heads, or pat the backs of the mass of children inching towards her.

Sotomayor continued to give more instructions to "come sit down", "face the screen," and "shhhh." Other adults stepped in to help get the children seated.

And about two minutes after the excitement started, Clinton and the kids were sitting back down, and Sotomayor's court was no longer out of order.

"You have obviously, either not read the book, or failed to comprehend what you read."

Ayn Rand, like many of her supporters today, was a psychopathic dreamer who never grew past her adolescent puberty. Atlas Shrugged is built on the fantasies of a Russian Atheist novelist who not only benefited from a communist government by attending in her adolescence one of Russia's premiere universities free of charge, she also had while living in the twilight of her life the benefit of receiving her moochers social security paycheck and medicare coverage courtesy of the government of the United States. Her only real claim to fame has never been publicly acknowledged: the ultimate actress selling herself for profit. It is this very woman that the Republican party has endorsed as worthy to base the entirety of their political platform on the teachings of, and is a fitting epilogue to Paul Ryan and Rand Paul; both of who have received payments from the very government, they, as did Ayn Rand, rail against. Paul Ryan in social security survivor benefits from the death of his father; and Rand Paul from medicare payments he received as an ophthalmologist treating elderly patients. There is also the similarity between the three of reaching, but never maturing, beyond adolescent fascination with fiction, one's ideology, and one self made image of greatness.

Lol @ Jackson Antoine, they have good reason to be scared, they ARE going to lose! Lol. And @ Anonymous...i dont know where you get the notion that social security is "compliments of the government" but that is NOT true! The government may have used US citizens tax dollars paid INTO the social security fund...but...that is NOT government money!

    @ chrissy

She received her free education "compliments of" Russian communism. Furthermore, without her monthly social security benefits she would have become financially dependent upon the very governmental practices of welfare that she decried. I do agree social security were monies she payed - albeit in protest - and via the "courtesy of" U.S. government legislation. Had there not been that avenue for her to collect from, she would have spent her latter years an impoverished and co-dependent government subsidy statistic. Her social security payments saved her that fall from grace of her own self described Randian stigmas.

Shameless. Sotomayor, previously of "La Raza" fame, now determining the prevailing Constitutionality of our laws. How comforting.

I see by several replies here. That people think I am of one side or other.. Im speaking from a encounter in the 80s where I ACTUALY MET HER and her hubby Bill as govenor of Arkansas. Over bearing attitude she showed to him was obvious to myself and the two people I was with at time. And by her MANY times being blogged about on CNN. Its only gotten worse of her attitude towards ANYTHING not exactly like she wants. And this is america. First ammendment rights of free speach. But thats also a problem she will try and fix if in office..

So this scene took place at a Border Patrol station in El Paso? No Obama third term! How many of Obama's "unaccompanied minors" will be housed at the Clinton estate? At Ms. Sotomayor's home? Just as soon as President Permisso returns from Martha's Vineyard he's going to look into ....... blaming Hobby Lobby for the crisis on the border.
