Perry slams Obama admin again, this time over Israel

Republican Texas Gov. Rick Perry has been blasting the Obama administration for what he called “second-guessing” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over recent clashes in Gaza.

“We need to be standing up with Israel, sending a strong message to those in the Middle East that would attack this democracy that we are their ally and they can count on us,” Perry told CNN’s Candy Crowley on “State of the Union” on Sunday.

Despite recent public praise from Netanyahu for the United States, Perry insisted the Obama administration has sent mixed messages during efforts to create calm in the region.

“I think that there have been messages sent both publicly and privately that have not been strong in their support of Israel,” Perry said. “I don't understand why this administration would criticize Israel for trying to protect their citizens and their country from a group who have clearly stated that they will not be satisfied until Israel is wiped off the face of the Earth.”

Perry’s CNN interview dovetails neatly with his appearance last week at a unity rally for Israel and an op-ed in Politico on Friday entitled ”Stand with Israel.”

These high-profile foreign policy comments are yet another burst of activity that could stoke suspicion of Perry’s 2016 presidential intentions, especially given his party’s staunch support of Israel. A Pew Research survey released in July shows that only “6% of Republicans sympathize more with the Palestinians than Israel.”

What about the Palestine people, they have allowed an terrorist organization occupy Gaza, knowing that the use women and children as human shields, their schools and hospitals and homes to hide weapons. Nothing is done to control Hamas by the Palestines. It is easy to blame others than to take responsibility for their situation. Instead of building homes, they build tunnels to kill others. More often Hamas starts things by shooting off rockets, thank God for the Iron Shield , and we sent foreign aid to Palestine , which they give to Hamas..

As I read this article, I can't help but think how the idea that modern day Democrats in my country, the USA, are liberal or progressive is nonsense. They were at one point, but that time has passed. You can't be a liberal or progressive and support what Israel is doing. They support Israel's anti-Arabite actions just as much as Republicans, but they try to hide it to look liberal. We just watched Barack Obama condemn Israel out of one side of his mouth and give them the keys to the emergency stores of weapons paid by your tax dollars and meant for our soldiers to Israelis to do worse damage than they already are. No such keys were given Palestinians of course. That isn't the first time.
The second intifada happened starting in 2000. Jewish American scholar Noam Chomsky stated in a debate he had around 2000, “The balance of terrorism is overwhelmingly against the Palestinians, not surprising given the balance of forces. And that's true right to the present. For decades Israel was able to run the West Bank virtually with no forces because the population was so passive, while they were being humiliated, beaten, tortured, land stolen and so-on. Finally there was a reaction.
“And it's interesting to see the US reaction to it. In the first month of the intifada, October 2000, 74 Palestinians were killed, 4 four Israelis were killed in the occupied territories. The Israeli Army, according to its own records, fired 1,000,000 bullets on the first day, which disgusted the generals when they learned about it. Israel was using US helicopters, they don't make them, to attack civilian complexes, apartment houses and so-on, killing and wounding dozens of people. And the US did respond to that. Clinton responded by sending the biggest shipment of military helicopters in a decade. To Israel”
The old routine of Democrats taking like hippies and permitting and aiding in killing brown people in Palestinian lands like their souls were KKK to the bone. Note, 74 Palestinians were killed in a month then. Close to 1,000 have been killed the first week alone this round. It's genocide and Democrats revel in it. There really is no progressive party in the US currently, and hasn't been since the days of Jimmy Carter. Sad.

Geez, Ricky McD and freedom keep saying that Obama is not only anti-Semitic, he's anti-Christian and anti-American as well. It would be too damn easy to say what they and their ilk are against, and far too difficult to figure out what they are for, because they have never said what they are in favor of.The bombing of civilians, and the wasting of Israeli blood and treasure is happening because Netanyahu wants to divert attention from his own failed stewardship of his country and blame the bogeyman of Obama. Obama is a convenient target of his hatred because Obama beat his former co-worker Romney two years ago, and Obama has has the audacity to insist on some progress in the peace process after the billions we've poured into the country to defend them.

First Perry had to go down to UT to find out where Israel is and what the big fuss is all about. They made up cue cards for him so he wouldn't forget and start talking about Ireland.

    Nice frames though.

First thing Perry had to do was stop by UT and get some cue cards made up so he didn't confuse Israel and Ireland.

Being criticized by the likes of Perry about anything is sort of like being criticized by the village idiot for making sense or using fact or science.

He is a moron but he does know he cannot be president without the support of the Jews in the USA. The Jews control most of the worlds most powerful countries. They have infiltrated most of the governments of the free world. It is unfortunate that a terrorist country that is killing innocent Palestinians and bombing UN building used to provide a safe haven for innocent people is now the most powerful country in the world. Please stop this nonsense. Please boycott everything Israeli,,Please elect world leaders that do not support Israel and are not controlled by Israel. Please send in a UN Multinational force to protect the innocent Palestinians and remove Israel from Gaza and please do not vote for this Moron(Rick Perry)

He might have just got the sexy glasses but is also IQ down cause he clearly cannot tread what just passed the house and senate = $225m of iron dome military equipment support nor does he read the Kerry initiatives correctly via Egypt and IN conjunction with the UN His comments may make political sense to his right wing base, but nowhere else especially not the area international diplomacy.
Gosh CNN if this guy excurgitated, you'd report it as an important effort in his presidential aspirations .
