That time Obama wore a tan suit and Twitter freaked out

(CNN) - President Barack Obama on Thursday took some questions in the White House press briefing room about serious subject matters - ISIS, Iraq, Syria, Russia.

But the reaction on Twitter was largely focused on his rarely worn tan suit.

Within seconds of stepping into the room, tweets were already firing off about Obama's pre-Labor Day attire. And by the end of the news conference, a few Twitter handles had been created in honor of the suit.

This is all political propaganda to set for future wars. I am ex infantry but the creation of ISIS was bound to happen. These people want there freedom without western influence. Pull our troops out and let them live there culture. But sadly America will only take advantage of this and condemn ISIS as crazy and evil. They are freedom fighters that 4 months ago we bounded to support them with weapons and money...

@Sunil Obama's quote from today: "We don't have a strategy yet."
That's fine. The middle east is the mess it is today partly because of the heartless (waste of a donor's heart hands down) shoot your friend in the face while drunk vp and his puppet shrub #43 who lied about WMDs, told us the US would be welcome as liberators, had a mission accomplished opps moment on an aircraft carrier and NOT have an exit strategy for Iraq.
This is not the wild wild west. There are many issues to consider because going in guns blazing and then retreating to figure out what to do after the fact.

I have to reconsider where and whom I get my news from if this is all these news outlets can report . These reporters should be fired for job abandonment.

TEA/GOP wants another cowboy, shoot first response. That kind of thinking is what caused the destablization in Iraq that created the current situation. I do have to credit the Bush neocon chickenhawks for predicting that deposing Sadam would set off a wave of popular uprisings w/elected govts. Hamas in Gaza. Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. Iranian puppet in Iraq. Corrupt Karzi in Afgan. Good job chickenhawks. Good for Haliburton, defense contractors, and corrupt foreign leaders. A disaster for America.

Morons have taken over the world–or should I say the tweety birds with their hashtags in their hands. If you want an example of how vacuous and puerile the world has become, the tweeter about the suit when the world is facing some very difficult challenges that these tweetie birds need to be informed about is an example. Oh Sylvester the Cat where are you.

43 Democrats in the Senate have signed onto a bill to effectively repeal the First Amendment.
S.J.Res.19 would effectively give Congress the power to control any political speech in the United States.
Led by Harry Reid, the bill would eliminate the ability of campaigns, political parties and outside groups to spend money in elections. We would all like to see corruption via campaign spending to end, but to eliminate the 1st Amendment is not the way to do it.

0bama does not have nothing good in him or on him . All he has to show is a lot of gray hairs he didnt earn .

That's some hatred for a President i have never witnessed before, is it because he is black chris?

Obama's quote from today: "We don't have a strategy yet."
And that's OK. I like a President who mulls things over and thinks about ALL pros and cons before making a decision.

Ok, mull it over while thousands are being slaughtered or just hope it goes away.
For someone who won the Nobel Peace Prize within four months of being in office, he sure knows how to bring about peace with four wars raging in the world. Ukraine, ISIS, Gaza, Ferguson.... What a joke! He says nothing and does even less.

"We don't have a strategy yet."
Thank you, Obama for announcing to the world:
    – that the US is incompetent and no longer deserves the title as "Leader of the Free World"
    – emboldening our enemies to threaten us more
    – "I got your back" (one of Obama's favorite/overused catch phrases) is hollow and meaningless

Silence would have been a better option
