(CNN) - Newark, New Jersey, Mayor Cory Booker did not deny his interest in seeking higher political office in an interview on CNN's "Piers Morgan Tonight" Friday, when he also spoke about living for a week on food stamps.
"It's a little more difficult than I imagined," said Booker, a Democrat. "I thought it would be good on eating on a tight budget, so I started out not really marshalling my food well, so I'm really cutting back now."

(CNN) – While many Republicans have already diagnosed their party's problems after the presidential loss earlier this month, the chairman of the Republican National Committee is saying not so fast.
"I don't think you can draw any quick conclusions other than the fact that we lost and we know that," Reince Priebus said Tuesday on CNN's "Piers Morgan Tonight," the chairman's first television interview since the election. "But in order to get back in the game, you've got to look at and do a full autopsy of what happened."

(CNN) - Former GOP presidential candidate Rick Santorum offered no insight into his own political future in a Friday CNN interview, but did offer his thoughts as to why the Republican nominee lost to President Barack Obama on Tuesday.
"What Mitt Romney, in my opinion, didn't do was go out and vigorously defend the beliefs that he said he espoused and didn't go on the offense," Santorum said in an interview to air Friday on CNN's "Piers Morgan Tonight." "And when you're playing defense, which is what I believe the campaign was doing and Republicans were doing generally throughout the course of this campaign you're not going to win.

(CNN) - A staunch Republican, and a top surrogate for Mitt Romney, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie crossed the aisle this week and praised President Barack Obama for his support and handling of the federal response
"This is much more important than any election, Piers. This is the livelihood of the people in my state," Christie said Tuesday on CNN's "Piers Morgan Tonight." (CNN) - Josh Romney, one of Mitt Romney's five sons, defended his father Monday against attacks over the presumptive GOP nominee's tax returns.
"He's paid his taxes," Josh Romney told CNN's Piers Morgan. "This is a gimmick by the Obama campaign to take the message off the economy and on to my dad's personal taxes."
