CNN Poll: Most see Russia as a threat to U.S.
Washington (CNN) - As the crisis in the Ukraine continues, a new national poll indicates that for the first time in more than a decade, more than half of Americans see Russia as a serious threat to the U.S.
A CNN/ORC International survey released Friday also indicates that Russian President Vladimir Putin's unfavorable rating among Americans has soared over the past month. And the poll indicates that the vast majority of the public says Moscow's actions in neighboring Ukraine break international law, and half of those questioned say a new Cold War between the U.S. and Russia is likely.
CNN Poll: Support for Obamacare slightly edges up
Washington (CNN) - Support for the country's new health care law appears to be rebounding slightly, according to a new national poll.
A CNN/ORC International survey released Tuesday indicates that nearly all of the increased support comes from upper-income and college-educated Americans.

Washington (CNN) - Slightly more Americans approve than disapprove of how President Barack Obama has so far handled the crisis in Ukraine, but that has not affected the President's overall job approval rating, according to a new national poll.
The CNN/ORC International survey released Monday also indicates that economic sanctions against Russia appears to be the only option that a majority of Americans support that's available to the U.S. to try and end the crisis in the Ukraine.
CNN Poll: Wide divide over abortion
Washington (CNN) – About one in four Americans say that abortion should be legal in all circumstances, one in five say abortion should always be illegal, and slightly over half the public thinks abortion should be legal in some, but not all, circumstances, according to a national poll released Thursday.
A CNN/ORC International survey also indicates that a majority opposes taxpayer money being used to pay for abortions for women who can't afford the procedure, with Americans split on whether women who receive government subsidies for health insurance should be able to get a plan that covers abortions.
Polls: Positive opinions of Russia, Putin plunge
(CNN) - As Russia hosts the Winter Olympic Games, a second straight national poll indicates that Americans' opinions of Russia have plunged.
According to a Gallup poll released Thursday, six out of 10 Americans have an unfavorable view of Russia, with just 34% holding a favorable view of the country. That's a switch from 2012, when 44% had an unfavorable view and half the public had a favorable opinion of Russia.

(CNN) - A majority of Americans surveyed believe the government should work to reduce the income gap between rich and the poor, according to a new national poll.
A CNN/ORC International survey released Wednesday indicates more than six in 10 Americans strongly or somewhat agree that the government should work to narrow that gap, compared to 30% who believe it should not.
