Boehner also received a call from President Barack Obama, their offices acknowledged. The White House said earlier Obama called House Majority Leader Eric Cantor and Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.

(CNN) - Rick Santorum's daughter, Bella, turns four on Sunday, the former presidential candidate posted on Twitter Friday, along with a link to a website to send birthday wishes.
"Our daughter Bella's 4th bday is on Sun. Celebrate w/us! Tweet a bday wish w/#happybirthdaybella or send a wish," he wrote.
Bella, the youngest of Santorum's seven children, suffers from a chromosomal condition called Trisomy 18. Half of patients born with the condition do not survive past the first week of life, according to the National Institutes of Health.
(CNN) - Newt Gingrich and his wife Callista weighed in Thursday on the debate over admitting women to the all-men Augusta National Golf Club.
The private Georgia golf club, which hosts the Masters Tournament that started Thursday, has not allowed women members since it opened in 1933 (they do allow women to play as guests).
