"I think we need an extreme position because I feel like we lose our constitutional rights every day," said Jason.

Manchester, New Hampshire (CNN) - Pam Englander has lived in Manchester, New Hampshire for 13 years. She's not a Republican so she doesn't care about the candidates but she enjoys watching the competition.
"People's dissatisfaction with Obama not doing all he'd say he'd do has made people look for an alternative," said the lifelong Democrat. She'd love to see Ron Paul win because she believes he'd be easy to defeat.

Manchester, New Hampshire (CNN) - Elizabeth Lempka and Make Keohan met through St. Andre Bessette church. Tommorow is the saint's feast day and they decided to celebrate by going to a town hall for Rick Santorum.
"Bessette was an illiterate humble man who was this little guy who worked in the New Hampshire. He was good and kind," said Elizabeth.

Manchester, New Hampshire (CNN) - Heather Javalgi came to hear Rick Santorum with her son and came away impressed by his stand on the economy. Her husband is a high school math teacher and she is a stay at home mom. She feels if she can be conservative with her money then so can the government.
She made the choice to stay home with her children and knew she would sacrifice "a new TV or a car." She feels like she can do that too and not rely on entitlements – a theme Santorum laced through part of his speech.

Des Moines, Iowa (CNN) - David Long asked me to sign his baseball. He collects them and gets people to sign them so he carries them around Des Moines.
"It's going to be exciting at the caucuses," he says. He plans to take his kids. Besides getting autographs he wants the elections to move us past bad policies of the past. He wishes we had someone in between President Barack Obama and the Republicans. He agrees with about 80 percent of what Ron Paul says but can't go with the idea of getting rid of so many government departments. He says there are people out there who need services. Even so, he won't caucus with the Republicans this time around.

Des Moines, Iowa (CNN) - Mary Wieman eats breakfast with Pat Smyth once a week at the Waveland Cafe. She won't talk about who she is voting for because Pat is a Democrat who supports President Barack Obama. Pat says Mitt Romney is the Republican who is least "unappealing."
"I think there is too much emphasis on issues that are not important like faith which has nothing to do with running for president," she said. "The family values crap. And then they pick Newt!"
